This will be my first experience watching anything James Bond. Its true. My parents were big fans but I never watched before.

I've heard so much about Goldfinger before and after seeing it.
More than just another 3rd film of a series.
Peak of 007, the phenomenon within the phenomenon, the OG blockbuster, etc.
It definitely has a great story, theme song, dialogue, villains, girls, action, danger and sexiness.
Gert Frobe as Auric Goldfinger is definitely top tier for his motives.
Desmond Llewelyn in his first of 16 films as Q, another established staple.
I loved Honor Blackman as Ms. Galore, she was so hot and i heard she had a huge crush on Connery, very smitten.
Because of GF, the theaters had to stay open 24 hrs just to keep the crowds pleased.
The jumpoff of the franchising with all the brands of clothes, cars, cologne, toys and more was selling like crazy.
I believed it all.
Pure classic indeed.
Anybody with a brain or love for this stuff would believe it too.
This one was great. I love it when you two really get into a movie.

@@celladora31 I absolutly agree with your parents' opinion. I have my own personal ranking of all the actors that played the character so far and Sean Connery is still my no.1 Bond and will most probably always be. 👍

I really hope you'll react to all 007 movies and if you've never seen them before, you should react to the mission impossible franchise as well. They're even better than James Bond in my opinion ;)

In its day, "Goldfinger" was the highest-grossing film of all time. Then it was topped at the box-office by Connery's next 007 outing, "Thunderball." Adjusted for inflation they would each make over a billion dollars in today's market. But their budgets, adjusted for inflation, would be far less than Daniel Craig's biggest-earning 007 film cost to produce. Connery is still the champ!!!!!
It's amazing to see the impact those classic 007 films had and how they still hold up in today's market!

Someone wrote a sequel to this a few years ago & James Bond gets fed up with Pussy Galore when goes to live with him in his London apartment & he's quite relieved when she leaves him for another woman
That sounds like an interesting twist on the classic Bond character dynamics!
