Looks like they got rid of the "Seed Meter" from the arcade version (but kept in Tengen's NES port). You had to keep eating the seed or else you'll get penalized for missing five bowls of seed by being frozen still, allowing Wile E. to catch you easily.
They did, but other than that, it's s faithful port with 8 levels. I died at the beginning on level 5. This game is so hard. I own this one
That is a very impressive conversion!
The title screen is one of the best on the 2600.
ya! especially when most don't even have one ;-)
I don't know about that.I think that most games released after 1983 had title screens.
It was disturbing to see Wile E Coyote catch Road Runner since that didn't happen in the show! I would have thought you'd play as the former since he always loses and it's the rare game that has a winning ending. At least I found why it was in the highest ranked games of his.
I always felt sorry for Wile E. Coyote who spent SO much money at Acme & Co. on stuff to catch RR so I'd be delighted to see him finally nab the blasted bird. It was heartbreaking to see every scheme he cooked up BLOW UP right in his face.
Woh! and I thought TAZ was a cool game!!! , going to keep my eyes open for this one. Though I couldn't help but feel like this game is a mish mash of BC's Quest for tires and Jungle Hunt.. hmmm
Looks amazing. On my phone, they kind of look like the dragons from Adventure! I can tell the sprites are much better, though. Wile E. even has enough frames to see his back!
Very impressive graphics indeed. The only thing they should have did was add a little color to the roadrunner's beak area, and made the birdseed yellow
Late in the game for Atari trying to milk their systems in 1989.
I played this one yesterday! Not a bad game but it didn't hold my interest for too long.
The Atari Creep That's because it's so hard it's just frustrating
