Negative Die-cut Stenciling - A must-see technique!

- Today, I shared a really fun technique using the new Feathers and Floral Card Kit! This technique uses a combination of emboss resist along with using the negative piece from your die-cut feather images to create a really fun pattern for under the Feather dies. It also leaves behind an elegant texture on your card. I hope you enjoy this technique and I hope you will give it a try!

Gorgeous! If you cut your stencil out of plastic, you can use it over & over! I use plastic school folders or dividers to make stencils. 😊❤️
I like to use the Tyvek envelopes from the post office to make masks and stencils.

I am not new to Gina K Designs, but I am always amazed with the cards she creates. I have learned beautiful color combinations and the magic of masking paper! Rub dryer sheets on your fur babies during storms. It helps. The static in the air makes their hair stand on end and they don’t like it. The dryer sheets help some dogs.

Beautiful card but I have such a difficult time with the tape dispenser it always doubles up on me and then it becomes unusable... very frustrating. Or is it just me?????

I was thinking that using some Glitter Glitz Gel on these feathers, with your stencils, could provide another dimension under the white stencil cuts. Just thinking of the beautiful sparkles!
Do the dies cut through acetate???? If they do, you could make the stencil out of acetate 😊. This would mean you could keep and reuse it forever and you could also see through it for positioning purposes 😉

I missed the live. Can you believe it. I think that would be a grate graduation card. I hope I get my kit before my nephew leaves for college in Minnnesota(sp)
Also what is the tool you use to poke the card out of the Stencil?

Can't wait for my kit to come in! Also I love thunder storms my dog is not a fan but he very bravely rests under the bed or couch where theres more sound proofing on occasion he gets brave enough to growl at the lightening if it wakes him up
Are you ever going to have the feather stamp set and die set as seperate items. I love the Feathers and Flora kit, but it is just a little too expensive combination for my income. I really want the feather dies the most.
Before I owned a heat gun. I used to hold my card above my toaster and it worked. Not too close or the paper turns brown and keep it moving but it does melt the embossing powder
