I personally think Brevistay is a brilliant idea cuz there are times when we book a hotel for vacation and spend most of the time of day exploring other destinations and need hotels only for grooming in the morning and sleeping at night

They gave a very wrong answer to the check-in and check-out time question. The main reason for the 2 hr gap between 12 pm checkout and 2 pm checkin is because the hotel needs time to clean the room and replace the bed sheet, pillows and other amenities.

Hotels wants to earn more money on same room ,last year I went ujjain with my family our trains has two different timings and still had so much time but as the day passed to 12 to they charged for whole day ,so if someone comes at 2 they had vacant room and they will charge for whole day that's the biggest issue not just couples things

Good to see Anupam Mittal and Amit Jain locking horns and No, it's not scripted! AJ may have a much higher net worth than AM and both are suave businessmen, yet Anupam Mittal IS well grounded when it comes to business infrastructure logic and proforma analysis. These young aspiring entrepreneurs looking for funding are all Ears when the man speaks.
I will say one thing though... there wouldn't be any animosity between them and both are smart businessmen as they both know that sharks locking horns mid pitch increases TRP. That's just the way it is!

As a user i want to share my comments. I feel idea about hotel check in check out as per user need for limited period is actual need mostly in metro cities not specific for couples but fligh delay and other concerns are there. You can grow business in that and market wont be small. Anupam’s feedback is also correct at this stage when you reach out to raise money all numbers and study is very important so sharks can evaluate correctly in limited time period.

I don't think it has anything to do with which university they graduated from. Anupam was interested, but was unimpressed by their market research. Also they raised a good point about regulations. India is a conservative market.

Reading books culture will incsurely
i love books too. i own around 200 and have read hundreds in my 25 years of life. But i know for a fact that this community is dying because most readers prefer to read e-books for the convenience. I prefer to read physical books but most people don't anymore. Passion must never cloud one's judgement.
But those who take e books don't even finish it. I personally believe reading physical copy is more beneficial than e-copy.
I disagree. Ebooks are way more better. You can download and share PDFs, read whenever wherever you like. Physical copy may be good for collection but if you are truly seeking knowledge then ebooks are better. You can get them for free online, atleast the popular ones.

Brevistay was an amazing idea; the only thing it needed was proper execution and a good pitch. I wonder why the Sharks didn’t see any potential in it, especially Anupam. I literally have so many friends who met through shadi. They go on a date and always feel the need to book a hotel room. 😬 And it’s also wrong to compare it with Japan because casual s** (s** without being in an official relationship) is more common there than in India. A recent study even shows that 80-85% of married females in Japan are okay with their husbands having casual s** (unless they develop feelings). However, in India, despite couples, there are still many use cases.
