Incredible. Someone who trash talks online when they would probably get destroyed by the person in real life. Did you also miss the part where he hurt his leg and took a break? Get off your couch and go run a half marathon. There’s no reason to hate. Winston just got you too.
@@Accarius0_0 Lol. Should I admire him for his broken legs? C'mon, dude. He plays like shit, and either do you, indeed, so compliment each other, dudes. @TheFedHD yeah that’s true I think. But I don’t really know how to compare the US ranking system to European ones, as they’re all different. I saw at least 2 matches on the weekend with my team, where all 4 players were better than Winston. But again, don’t know how to compare it. I have absolutely no idea what rank he would get here in Germany (Leistungsklasse, LK).
Really would like to see Winston to play someone at his own level to check the progress after taking lessons with Karue like Mark Sansait. Don't always play against someone with level much higher.
hey Winston just saying u should try playing a 5.0usta to see how it goes but also, what does Karue think of your serve? I see a lot of criticism in the comments, I think it’s okay but there are improvements to be made, but I’m just curious to hear what the expert has to say
He did a valuable comment today though which was, that serve was pure arm, and it was. Hopefully we do see some collab with the serve as I do think that is the biggest opportunity.
understandable your a little rusty but I still think Winston needs that full 100 regular Pure Aero. It has a higher launch angle/power/spin for his forehand which he seemed to be framing or hitting top of net/short. The VS is more of a control racquet with its 98/16x20/thinner beam that doesn't really fit your game right now. Thanks to Karue and Gus and thanks for vid.
Winston - love your channel bro! 💯💪 I’m a 4.0 (self rated) and would love the challenge to play you if your in AZ and would be happy to host you at my club! Keep up the great work my man!
When Karue said to focus on your inputs, what did you focus on in particular? Was it maybe keeping your head still at contact, your footwork or something else?
Also why you never play real competitions? USTA leagues or tournaments or UTR tournaments? To know what you current objective level it and to practice competing.
10:28 it would be interesting to watch pros play like this where they have 1 partner who is better than them sit aside to wait to be tagged into the match at certain moments. For example: a top 50 player partners with a top 10 player (Giron and Djokovic) and when theyre down break point Giron calls Djokovic to sub in
That's the first thing I thought we'd see. I think they have worked on it though, but, as many times with new concepts, Winston might be confused with them, because the last 2-3 videos man I feel he's really regressed on his serve.
Hey Winston great videos! I have watched many of your matches, but missed this one so watching it now. I have paid particular attention to your serving, especially the grip on your racket for both 1st and 2nd serve. In my opinion you should try going more extreme with the continental grip because it will allow more natural power and spin and take a lot of pressure from your arm. It appears like the grip now is making you have to really force the spin at the point of attacking the ball. This is undoubtedly causing a lot of pressure on your arm. Also, it it causing much unnecessary looping with the racket when it goes down and comes back up. This may be one reason you find yourself shanking some balls off the frame of the racket. Good luck in your improvement journey!
Winston u can beat these guys 7-11 always have a shot tolerance they can only hit so many quality balls and they do so by swinging hard, if you keep that high percentage you will beat them for sure, trust your quality can go for it
great job for coming back after an injury. The kid is good. You needed two people to defeat him! I like how you settled down and started playing better after a rough start. The game is so mental. We play better when we don't think about what's not going well and just focus on each shot! 🙂
Someone please help Winston pronate on his serve. EDIT: Some tips: 1. **Must pronate** . You do not pronate on your flat serve. You start pronating too early, this makes it difficult to fully pronate. Pronate closer to the ball, and it will be easier. 2. **Into the court** . A lot of times you are jumping straight up and losing a ton of power behind the ball because your full body weight it not going into impact of the ball. 3. **Too sideways** . You do not need to be that bent over on a flat serve. If you're at 40 degrees - you should be closer to 20. To be clear, you'd crush me. You're in great shape, you got a loose wrist on the serve. You should be hitting your first serve a good 15-20mph easily with your athleticism. I wish you luck.
Hey Winston, Good job for always challenging yourself and not just posting vids of you playing lower players and creaming them. Good challenge to yourself. Keep it up.
