What's to Love about Sequoia National Park

Sequoia National Forest protects some of the most beautiful areas of California. HOme to both Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park, the national forest also protects thousands of acres of wilderness, including rivers, streams, forest and Mt Whitney the tallest mountain in the lower 48 states.

Say what you want about California in terms of politics but goddamn she is beautiful. I grew up going to Sequoia and Yosemite and made me love my California even more. Politics aside (because they are looney) California is great and I believe in my home state.

@@NinjaChokeOutside that’s because the national forest surrounds Kings Canyon and sequoia national park. The land continues all the way to Mount Whitney. Mount Whitney is not within the national park but within the national forest. And many of the trails are on both park or forest land
