Mamamoo is amazing because of how different they are. Like the title says, "Perfect is boring." Our differences aren't supposed to divide us between beautiful and ugly, our differences are supposed to define us. Imagine every female idol fitting the Korean beauty standards, that'd be extremely strange and boring. There may be a rule book on how to look "beautiful" but in all honesty it's bs. True beauty is having confidence in what makes you different from everyone else.

This was really entertaining and it looks like you put a lot of work into it. One piece of feedback I would give is that "strict" beauty standards are strict. If we are comparing the "second" most pleasing features then it's not strict. Trainees can get rejected by some companies due to the strict beauty standards they have for idols, so while society might be more open to embracing features that are the second most pleasing, the gatekeepers to the industry still impose these in a strict manner.

I have heard many times people say that Tzuyu, Wheein and others have tanned skin. And I am really amazed cuz they have fairer skin than mine, and supposedly here in Latin America, people consider me a ghost, because my skin is "very fair". hahahahaha

The first time I saw Mamamoo I thought Wheein was the visual and I still think she is so stunning. She kinda reminds me of Rachel Mc Adams. Anyway all these women are beautiful but especially talented, that's what matters.

I think so. They often appear barefaced on YT and TV shows and it seems like nothing's changed since their debut days (except for Moonbyul's head shape ofc) BUT their make up artists been doing a great job in recent years.
It does look like hwasa had a bit of lip fillers from around late 2018 but there is nothing wrong with that and she's been over drawing her lips anyway so it's just a bit more convenient than with make up

As only a month old into the "Kpop" scene I found Mamamoo very distinguisable from other Girl group. It's very easy to distinguish each member from the start and they stand out individually and not only as a group.

Yes, before debuting she did have to control her body weight strictly. But about a week ago at a variety show she said she changed and now she doesn’t need to diet anymore. You can see all other members eating salads and other vegetables while moonbyul is eating pizza with the staff.

This was really entertaining and it looks like you put a lot of work into it. One piece of feedback I would give is that "strict" beauty standards are strict. If we are comparing the "second" most pleasing features then it's not strict. Trainees can get rejected by some companies due to the strict beauty standards they have for idols, so while society might be more open to embracing features that are the second most pleasing, the gatekeepers to the industry still impose these in a strict manner.

I think so. They often appear barefaced on YT and TV shows and it seems like nothing's changed since their debut days (except for Moonbyul's head shape ofc) BUT their make up artists been doing a great job in recent years.
It does look like hwasa had a bit of lip fillers from around late 2018 but there is nothing wrong with that and she's been over drawing her lips anyway so it's just a bit more convenient than with make up

Where did you get that information from? She has been dieting every since pre-debut since she wasn't allowed to debut because her boss thought she was "too fat"(now she's with a different label and a different group). She often times eats less than 2000 kcal a day.
Yes, before debuting she did have to control her body weight strictly. But about a week ago at a variety show she said she changed and now she doesn’t need to diet anymore. You can see all other members eating salads and other vegetables while moonbyul is eating pizza with the staff.
