Another banger! Let me blow your mind though on something I just learned.
Highlight the bars you want to record then hit Ctrl + L. It will loop record. Meaning Ableton will only record what you do in that loop no matter how many takes, and it’s continuous.
Record as many takes as you want. Then when you’re done right click the Track Title Bar on the right and click “Show Take Lanes” it’ll show you all the takes you just did.
One thing to note is if let’s say you loop bars 2-8 and on your last take you went to bar 7 and stopped recording press Ctrl + Z to undo the very last loop you recorded or it will mess up the timing of the other takes you did.

Hey Giuseppe, or anyone else that is reading. I've got a question that might be stupid, but troubles me.
In the first example, where there's a lot of talk about modal interchange, wouldnt it just be the Phrygian mode? I dont understand why it is a modal interchange, and not just Phrygian. The way I see it, if you've got a minor chord (Em7 for example) and play a major chord half step above it (Fma7 in this case), isnt it just Phrygian?

you go half step down with the maj chord, not up. so in your example: Em7 - Ebmaj7
