I don't know if anyone in his family checks the channel still, but I hope you're all doing well. The music he's shared means a lot to us, but that must pale in comparison to how much he meant to you. May he rest in peace and you live in happiness.
Yes he did a great work! it was share joy follow his side! hope his channel will live forward long time. In memory of great time-
what do you mean? did the author pass away? how did you learn about it?
@@LocoCocoJorge it's in the channel's description
I feel blessed to have found this channel a few years ago. It has to be the greatest collection of albums and artists I've ever seen/heard.
I personally met him hes a cool dude who works at a mental hospital spreading his love of music to people there.

Сожалею-прошли те времена когда все было прекрасным в музыке и в жизни.Сколько мир дал удовольствия.
I heard ZZ Top are looking for their riff back.
@@cloudedthoughts909 MOLLY HATCHET plutôt......
@@ollag9260 yep
Nah, they just looking for some tush
I think they have a bit more to offer than ripping off a ZZ Top riff
Yeah, John Lee Hooker called ZZ Top to get his riff back...
Vocals sound a bit Joe Cocker. Bonus. Feel like I must have been living in a cave back in 76 to miss this.
And bass sound's like a Black Sabbath in Technical Ecstasy
My wife said the same, just before me kkkkkkkkkk...
A big hug from Brasil !
So you were Catweasel ?!?!?!
@@luckyrascal pat Travis to me
Equal parts Joe Cocker and Danny Joe Brown, which Molly Hatchet had not put down any wax.
Que som fantástico!
Álbum maravilhoso!
Rock antigo é o melhor mesmo sem dúvida!
Que obra prima!
Todas as faixas são incríveis!
"this is very southern rock and they sound exactly like
Molly Hatchet from the vocals to the instruments and
the way they are performed, great band wonder if they
put out anymore records other than this one."
My boss at a used car lot near Memphis used to play this album a lot when I worked for him during the summer of 2014. He used to pay me in crumpled up $100 bills. Last I heard, he moved to England to open up a fried chicken restaurant.
MFC- Memphis fried chicken
Knowing alot about Sourthern Rock styles, I cannot believe I have never heard of this group, great music....
Same here dude, I never heard of these cats. They cam jam pretty good though.
Sounds like Southern Rock!!!!!!!!!! It sounds exactly like Molly Hatchet!!!!!!! The singing, the guitar licks, and just the general feel of the music sounds exactly like proto-Molly Hatchet. This would fit in nicely with their first albums.
totally agree... 💯
i smoked a couple joints with these dudes in the early eighties.. good bunch of fellas.
I enjoy your channel.
Thanks uploading.
Consider yourself very very important. U are doing archival work. A million thanks.
Just wanted to echo what @Elochil posted. A thank you to his widow for letting us know he is gone, bless you.

the most beautiful channel that i've ever seen. THANKS
when i saw this listing i remembered the name. thought it was a molly hatchet offshoot. but i knew it was killer southern rock.
great to hear it again
Fantastic find!
Production sounds a bit flat but that's probably YT.
Cheers
I know right? It’s frustrating not be able to get the full music experience
Best dream; I wonder, how many records do You have in Your outstanding collection? Great band...again! Thank You very much!
ZZTop n Molly Hatchet. Jamming together,
new wine 👍
ZZ Hatchet
Molly's Hatchet, sounds better. 😀
@@snazz2
Yeah, you're right. Molly Hatchet were great. I saw them in "79 in Chicago. They opened for the Outlaws and they kicked ass. It was right after the release of the Flirtin" With Disaster album. It was a double dose of southern rock. The Outlaws kicked ass too. ☮️ Steve
@@thomassmith8721 great music and a lot of nostalgy but ABB, MTB and Lynyrds are surely better ;) Thanks anyway! :)
A Rock/Funk hidden gem. Solid album. Hey, Craig.
I didn't know I had any Southern relations, but George must be a second cousin or something.😁,( My name is Hatcher by the way)😄
On the album cover, standing from front to back:
George Hatcher (vocals)
Phil Swan (guitar)
Steve Wren (left, keyboards)
Harris Joannou (right, bass)
“Big” John Thomas (guitar)
Terry Slade (drums)
Rest in peace
It's a shame this band didn't make it very far because by this time the Allman Brothers band was already and iconic band and I surprised myself that I didn't even hear of this band in the mid-70s are there any more albums by these artists
Tiene un tono de voz parecido a Rory Gallagher...!!! Que buen grupo!!!..gracias por tan buena música...
Omg 😆 Land of the lost 👏👏👏
ah the sound of good classic rock! back when they actually made great music!
Look up Blackberry Smoke or the Marcus King Band...
@@simonvanderheijden432Don’t know BlackBerry Smoke, I can vouch for Marcus King 👋. I don’t think he’s quite reached his peak yet, but his last album was pretty good for nowadays. Definitely worth checking out.
🤘👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹👹🤘💯 Doskonałej fantastycznej mocarnej potężnej muzy rockowej z UK i USA dla mnie petarda bomba super super
Très triste d'apprendre le décès de TBDIH...
C'était un puits de disques rares.
What a good hard rockin lp. The vocalist kicks butt, he was layin it down the whole time with alot of soul and control. He had me reminiscing about Waylon's outlaw stuff, Billy Gibbons, Joe Cocker...How did I miss them in the 70's? and then until now?
This band is another great find!! Best channel on UA-cam!! Thank you!!
13:54 Rod Stewart wants his song back.
The singer sounds allot like JoeCocker. ✌❤& Rock&Roll,,,ReallyDigsMySoul 😎
🍀Cheers 🍻🍺 I'll Drink2That🍀
Muito bom, obrigado por compartilhar
Smokin' Hot sound! I'll be listening to this tonight a while.
Lembro a banda, Rare Earth, percussão ,etc.
Tudo se encaixa.
Saw these guys at the Gay Gordon Motel in Aberdeen bout76/77 best band I’ve ever seen in a pub
Very underrated Band with several great albums.
Very underrated
Yes. Labeled Underrated.
But that's just my opinion.
last upload a year ago.... guess the dream has ended?
Yep. It's over.
The owner of this channel has passed away.
There’s huge back catalog on here, the dream lives on in our ears
Many thanks for posting this, been after it for some years. Saw them in Oxford, England when this album had just been released. Lost my copy.
Very good music
Sensacional vocal maravilhoso
Best Dream... once again you've managed to expand my list of "must listen to". I hope someone is paying you for the endless gems you keep uploading.
Getting some nice Grinderswitch / Joe Cocker-esque vibes from this.
Never heard anything of GHB before today despite loving the 70s southern rock scene. Just ordered a vinyl copy!
Opening song is echoed strongly by "Tush" by ZZ Top. Hm.
premier album de MOLLY HATCHET !
The music may be a bit generic, but George Hatcher has a voice like Greg Allman, which carries this LP and raises this to a new level. Had I heard this in 1976, I would have bought it. It should have been bigger as the ABB was cancelling all sorts of gigs in fall 1976.
Sounds more like Danny Joe Brown than Allman
very rock............
This is a great album....i hear Grinderswitch....ABB.....joe cocker....each listen will bring more im sure....b well all.....

The best southern boogie dream I had.
Great stuff. I'm cranking this at my
Fourth of July B-B-Q. The Cannabis smoke lofts in the air. Mushroom shish kebobs to marinate the mind. Beer on ice. Chilled wine. Cocktails.
All my friends say thank you.
You would be most welcome.
... and we saw it all live.
Rock yeeeaaaahhh 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Saw this band in 1976 with Dr Feelgood Birmingham Odeon, good times

Never understood why All Night Gambler wasn't the album opener.
Que barato. Muito bom para ouvir, tomando aquele cházinho.🔊👈✌️
Bizarre album cover.
LSD influence

Nice obscure album
Rock & Roll had so much soul.

My teacher was in the band
was he on this album? which one?
Así a primeras cuando empieza la primer rola se parece a una de ZZTOP parece que esa rola de ZZ se llama cuchillo si no me equivoco
Gracias por subirlo me acorde de Mollie Hatchet
