Beautiful, They that has ears let them hear. Going from carnal to spiritual. Truly born again, so they can see the Kingdom just like Jesus told Nicodemus. He has so much more for us. Hunger and thirst for the Lord and His Love. Blessings.thank you.
Mrs. Devri, I've been so blessed by your teaching of Song of Solomon. Every chapter it's delightful and it has worked in me a strong desire to be with the Lord and spend time with Him every day. God bless you immensely and continue to flow through you as glorious Bride that makes herself ready for her beloved Bridegroom King Yeshua.
Wow. This brought me to tears. I have been going through these stages in the last year that you so beautifully described. I have never heard this interpretation before. ❤
Yeah, this is the most erroneous interpretation I’ve heard of Song of Solomon but not new. The error is comparing the Shepherd, who becomes the husband, to God. This book is talking about a marriage love and sexual love between a man and a woman. You have to take a naturalistic point of view when studying. You must be careful not to apply everything in scripture as if it is a comparison to God. He doesn’t have to be mentioned to be apart of the overall story. The greatness of this book is that God created marriage for a man and woman and created sex to be enjoyed within the covenant marriage. It is very wrong to compare a sexual love in marriage to our relationship with God.
“O that thou wert as my brother, That sucked the breasts of my mother! When I should find thee without, I would kiss thee; Yea, I should not be despised.” Song of Solomon 8:1 KJV What does this mean…she just wished that he was her brother so she could kiss him-
I cry because Jesus is love. Such love
I can only say thankyou
