    This is awesome, I like how you explain the techniques of making the bag which includes the positioning of the snap lock, stitching the base and sides to the bag, fixing the handle, etc. Thanks very much for sharing this lovely project video 👍🏽.

    Wow! I really like your teaching. Please can you do bags with just some kind of stay or foam and Ankara materials? Because I don't have a strong machine to go through the hard boards. Thank you. A new subscriber.

    I love the tricks used, especially where you didn't cut the end of the ankara material in order to avoid fraying

    • @OfficialTej

      Good to have you here ma’am. Yes it’s swed specifically for bags. Not the type for dresses

    Good evening, ma. This is superb. I am definitely going to try out. Please, would a basic sewing machine do the sewing part?

    • @OfficialTej
      @OfficialTej  3 роки тому +5

      Yes it will. I used a flat bed sewing machine for this project. All u need is to change the needle to size 18-22 (depends on the thickness of the bag). Then of course a bag thread (size 2). A lovely evening to You❤️

    Thank you so much ma for sharing, but please what exactly is this chip board, I went to the market to get it but no one could identify it...is there another name for it.

    • @OfficialTej
      @OfficialTej  3 роки тому +4

      Okay
      You can get chipboard from the bookshop. Chipboard has a shiny white face on one side and a dull face at the other side. If you are in Lagos you can get it at Way street,Mushin. There’s a lady that sells velvet not too far from way street junction. She sells chipboard too. Or you can ask people around

    Please my scare is with this "cariboard". How reliable is it for bags? Large bags, small bags...if rain comes while you are with bag, will it melt off??

    Please for that down part and the side where you get to see it, can we use gum all through? I don't have a sewing machine
