Preparations for Japan continue as Eddie Jones' squad round off their training camp in Treviso and the focus turns to Sunday's Quilter Internationals opener against Wales.
Have to say as a Irish fan I have really enjoyed these videos. Here's to a great few warm up games and I hope ire eng Scot and Wales all have a great world cup and one of us take it home. #b&ilions
@@thomaswilson8790 You're not alone there! All sorts of factors at play that we don't know though. Fatigue and already set up on a good defensive angle being big ones. But, you'd think if anyone had concerns about a weakness in his game it'd be positioning and getting gassed on the outside. Certainly not that time. I'm a big fan and hope he gets a good chance.
Another insightful video.. Keep it going guys. Are we sure Richard Hill isn't coming out of retirement for the RWC. Still looks fit enough to do a job, so must be avoiding Jason Fun Bus sessions..
great content, as a South African I'm glad to see that england are enjoying themselves in the sun, while my squad gets match fitness against 3 of the last 4 semi finalists of the previous world cup (with the other being us of coarse) enjoy the ice-cream and I'll see you in Japan!
Corne Fouche and you enjoy your burnout! We’re making sure we’re taking the right personnel for the job and making our team more of a team. We have warmup matches for the sake of warm up matches, to plan ahead and find what combinations work best, rather than fully competitive championship matches which will cost fitness and injury, and displace time to fully prepare. But hey, it’s been a long season, so best of luck maintaining international match fitness all the way until November.
England over training when they are in the pool of death, then will have to beat Wales/Aus, Runner up of NZ/SA or IRE,Winner of NZ/SA or IRE to win a rwc (not giving scots chance to make semis).
Love these videos.. wished I could’ve been the drone operator for the trainings.. am happy to give your drone team some pointers if you like! (Have filmed tons of Touch training and matches).. come on England! So excited for this World Cup!!
Farrell and Ford are basically the leaders of this England side. That's why Cipriani isn't in the squad. Looks like Francis might make it instead of Te'o at inside centre, and he can cover fly half.
@@stevenvinton9580 I kind of agree - I think Cipriani is more likely to change a game that England are losing if he comes on than Ford is, although Ford is also a creative player. But maybe Jones has balanced that with general squad contribution. If either Ford or Farrell get injured and Jones doesn't bring Cipriani in, I'd be very surprised. Same goes for Young and Care.
@@beatonthedonis Another good point.... I actually like Ford, and he can himself change a game. After all, it was him that prevented England being completely made to look stupid against Scotland in the 6ns.... But I kind of feel that Ford and Faz, both great on thier day, are just a tad too similar in both character and style and that the addition of the unpredictable maverick in Cips would help get the opposition guessing in really tight situations. I reckon Eddy should take all three players to give himself multiple creative options.? I recall he had just that in the SA tour last year and the only match they won was the last one with Cips at 10 and Faz at 12....
@@stevenvinton9580 I also remember that it was Mike Catt who rescued England in 2003 and 2007 with his cool head under pressure and game management skills. Cipriani could fulfill a similar role, plus the unpredictability. Problem for Jones is that he can only take 31 and Slade and Francis can play 10.
@@beatonthedonis Very true... Catt was great in that role. I still think that not incorporating Cips into the squad from the start however, would be a weapon discarded... After all Cips can also play full back, and England are not exactly over supplied in that position are they? LOL.... Knowing Cips, if they offered him a back up scrum half role he would snap thier hand off! Would probably create some magic from there too, to win the big games...!?
J Dog mate it’s looking likely to be a reverse. England’s playing a 2nd string team at Twickenham because are WC squad is named after the first game so therefore 50/50 players will play. Would back England to win them both tbh. We saw what not even are fourth team did vs the baabaas
Rugby latest News yeah true, wonder why he took dombrandt out the squad then 🤨 and yes I do agree, having 4 warm up games is silly , 2 would be fine. But economically it makes sense
@@beatonthedonis You aren't comparing apples with apples there are you. Cipriani was voted the player's player this year in the prem. His skill level's are sublime, the last time he played you had Farrell shouting at his move, only for May to score as he could see what Cipriani was doing! The skipper couldn't. It's a travesty because he should be there, he creates things when the game is flat, he should be on the bench for England as far as I can see.

The world of rugby must be laughing at England right now, for not selecting Danny Cipriani . Along with Bowden Barret ( NZ ) . The two best attacking fly halves in world rugby !,
Thats why 'beauden' barrett will likely be playing fullback and Cips is probabley only well known in the uk. Cips should be there but Farrell's not exactly a poor second.
