    It's 8 AM, this Hell I'm in
Seems I've crossed the line again
For being nothing more than who I am
So break my bones and throw your stones
We all know that life ain't fair
But there is more of us, we're everywhere
We don't have to take this, back against the wall
We don't have to take this, we can end it all
All you'll ever be is a fading memory of a bully
Make another joke while they hang another rope, so lonely
Push them to the dirt till the words don't hurt
    Can you hear me?
No one's gonna cry on the very day you die
    You're a bully
Think it through, you can't undo
Whenever I see black and blue
I feel the past, I share the bruise
With everyone who's come and gone
My head is clear, my voice is strong, now I'm right here to right the wrong
We don't have to take this, back against the wall
We don't have to take this, we can end it all
All you'll ever be is a fading memory of a bully
Make another joke while they hang another rope, so lonely
Push them to the dirt till the words don't hurt
    Can you hear me?
No one's gonna cry on the very day you die
    You're a bully
    (Solo)
    It's 8 AM, the Hell I'm in!
Your voice is strong, now right the wrong!
All you'll ever be is a fading memory of a bully
Make another joke while they hang another rope, so lonely
Push them to the dirt till the words don't hurt
    Can you hear me?
No one's gonna cry on the very day you die
    You're a bully
All you'll ever be is a fading memory of a bully
Make another joke while they hang another rope, so lonely
Push them to the dirt till the words don't hurt
    Can you hear me?
No one's gonna cry on the very day you die
    You're a bully
We don't have to take this, back against the wall
We don't have to take this, we can end it all (x4)

Rock haters say this genre doesn't have music that is relatable well if they actually LISTEN then they will see rock has plenty of songs that we can relate to. Like this one. Plenty of people grew up with bully problems in school. Myself included.

You might've gone through it well. And I have high respects for you. But there are some days that hell will just be a little too much. Bullying goes for no limits these days. Literally killing people because they caused you to feel some type of way. Man! I don't understand life anymore. I grew up as a kid not noticing anyone was being hurt or threatened around me. But once I grow up, and once you see the true colors of N.Y. Then you'll just sit back, and thank god you're not there. N.Y is not into the whole bullying bull shit because here we take shit seriously... a little too seriously. To make things end up as either both are dead or one dies.

Schools want you to not physically stand up to a bully they’d rather you verbally standup to a bully however if they throw a punch well I think we all know what to do next. Self defense is very important against a bully but that’s only when verbally standing up fails which in some cases it does.

I hate when people say "suicide is for the weak" I hate it because my friend Ivy hung herself in her backyard and she was one if the strongest people I knew. She put up with so much shit from people everyday and she did it with a smile, but when she got home she would cry and cry, but it didn't stop there she got to the point where she started cutting herself and then everyone made fun of her for that too. Suicide isn't for the weak, it's for people who have had enough of getting called names, getting hit, pushed, punched. Suicide isn't the right thing to do but it's not "weak" the weak people are the ones who feel the need to bring someone else down because they hate themselves.

    • @joshuacarpenter7447
      @joshuacarpenter7447 10 років тому +6

No it's not weak..The weak are the ones who judge them for what they did. Suicide also isn't for people who have had enough of all the things you said because there are suicides out there where people never could understand the reasons why they did it..Especially when it's a person who wasn't bullied.

gillecroisd 92 - She didn't owe her life to anyone but herself. It is sad that she took her own life, causing her loved ones to feel pain, but her life was her decision. Some people think that expressing their emotions to others is weak. A lot of the time suicidal people don't want to express their feelings because they're convinced that their feelings would only be a bother and it would be better to put on a smile. She wasn't selfish and she wasn't weak. She was probably convinced that her feelings didn't matter and that she had to deal with her problem by herself. Also, just because she had loved ones, doesn't mean that she felt any less alone. She might have known that people could help her but people can be abused to a point where they feel like no one can help them. I think it is selfish to believe that someone should stay alive for your sake. It is selfish to make suicidal people feel guilty for be unhappy. Your mindset is harmful.

Bullies have no idea what they do to people. I wish bullies knew how it feels to be chewed up and spat out like they're nothing but another piece of trash that no one cares about. This song was meant to help kids stand up to those who are pushing them down. But in my mind a bully acts the way he does for a reason, but he doesn't need to express his anger out on those who are minding their own business.

All of my bullies. Which was convenient. I hunted them all down one by one and we fought. I kicked their shit in. Granted I was suspended for a little while but they never bothered me again I'll tell you that. Totally worth it. I was bullied as a child all through primary school and most of middle school. One day I just snapped and shoved one of my bullies into a wall, very hard. I always detested needless violence but they taught me that people do not listen to anything else. So I became violent towards bullies. I don't like how it made me but I don't regret it either. I will always react violently towards any kind of bullying, regardless of who does it. I did the same to female bullies who went out of their way to spread nasty rumors about me and abuse me in other ways.
I regret that all this made me into a shittier person than I could've been, but I don't regret standing up for myself. Nevermind the consequences: ALWAYS fight back. Throw stuff, pick up a chair and shout. Make a scene. MAKE A POINT that bullying is wrong and if nobody will help, you'll help yourself.

That must be tough, sorry for you're loss. And for all those people who have been through bully experiences, hang in there. There is always someone that loves you. Just ignore and block away haters and focus on the good things in life. Remember that most people who take pain on to others, have problems of their own.

Violence, in the words of most its never the answer but to those who were bullied... we had no real choice. I was picked on from elementry to middle school. Finally broke a kids nose in 7th grade to show I was no push over.
Needless to say it didn't feel good. I cried shortly after because I felt like a monster. Nothing feels worse than being like all those bullies. I just wish one day we can change the youth so that kids dont have to go through hell like us.

I mean people are like that they will drag your shit out in public, cock block themselves and wonder why they get turned down then try to convince you that all these illness and try to tell you what you actually want in life as well as make you doubt how much you care about others. If anything they make one wonder if they should hang themselves. But no that's not how you deal with a bully you just avoid them if they get that bad and resist. There is a level of being civil and a level of being reckless understand the too. Don't let them try to scare you with the thought of lack of salvation and hell. It's nothing like the hell they will drag you into.

Lol fuck that shit. Turns out Rachel told Ruth (who had social anxiety) to sit on her own at prom without my knowledge. Only found out a couple of months ago. Still not told her I know, I just stopped messaging her. And you know what? Turns out she doesn't care I stopped messaging because she'd not even tried to contact me. I was the one putting all the effort in. Bitch please, no one gonna use me like that again. Just remember, we were the one's who accepted you when everyone was bullying you at the start of high school!! And now you can't even pick up the phone to text "How you doing?" Fed up with fake people. Ruth stayed at home on prom night despite having spent the money on a dress and shoes and everything. She stayed home because she felt unwanted!! How dare you!! Funny what comes out in a year!!

MistressFailGame No one should make you feel ashamed of being gay. Nothing wrong in being gay. If the ones who make you hurt can't see that your being a good person isn't based on sexual orientation then they really are not worth bothering with.
Be who you are and be proud of that. Be a symbol of love to invalidate their cruelty. And remember you are never alone. if you feel that no one can hear you they can and they can help you through this. be it family, friends, professionals they can help you stand against the bullies and show you are the better person.

3-4 (Almost 5th) I have been bullied, by the same vulgar and negative group of people, They're the exact reason Im like I am, and why I despise new music, The music I listen to is "Shitty" and "Weird" like this one. They say Im a wimp, along with my brother. They don't understand my life, and what hell they put me through. Once, one of the bullies fell. Being the kind person I am, I asked if they were ok. The next few days, Im still described as usual things. Im on the edge of snapping. I've raised my voice, and cursed at my brother for what he said once. A few months ago, a person who bullied me asked me if I liked my teacher or not. I nodded, but felt regret while talking to him. What the hell was he doing? Trying to start a friendship with someone hes kicked around? Im not accepting a friend request from someone whose punished me for nothing. And my teachers- Damn, where do I begin? They tell me they WONT tolerate bullying. But Hell, I told them I was picked on once, My Response: Go sit down. WTF? Ik you dont tolerate it, you support it. They think just saying "Don't Do That" Or Writing anyone up is gonna help? No, a bully wants to feel like they have power, and you need to show them your not a pushover. I remember once, I was with one of my friends and we were drawing when we weren't suppose to be. So, the person 1 desk away from us says, "Stop that. Your not suppose to do that." So my friend said "Leave Us Alone." And then he said. "Little girl, your gonna do as I say, Im stronger then you, and I can beat you up." Wtf honestly. So, then I said back in response. "Im Not Gonna Be Such A Pushover This Year." And glared him right in the face. "Hm- Girl.." Wtf kinda response is that? If he smacks those lips at me anymore, I swear to god.
Dear Chloe, Thank you for being there by my side at everytime.
Dear Khamani, Im sorry for not being your precious "Servant"
Dear Tymarcus, Sorry for not being that Wimpy Friend.
Dear Damiona, Sorry for being kind.
Dear LaRico, Sorry for being myself.
Dear Landon, Sorry for not being that outgoing friend you wanted.
Dear Parents, Sorry for not being that perfect child you always wanted.
Dear Brother, Sorry for not being that perfect sibling.
Dear Dakota Angelz, Thank you, for being in my life.
Dear Everyone, Sorry For Being Human.

I was in a very homophobic school and I had this "friend" she was very toxic but we were friends for as long as I can remember. during 7th grade I figured out I was bi and I told her..she told everyone in school and I was constantly bullied about it, this one time a guy beat me up actually be broke one of my ribs and my arm along with giving me a black eye broken nose and a lot of other things. as soon as I fought back a teacher saw and I got in trouble because "it's my fault for being openly homosexual because I should know what will happen" I got suspended for 3 weeks and I still had to do my school work...I was in the hospital and I could barely move because it hurt so much..once I got back to school (I still had a cast on and I needed help to my classes because I could barely walk) I saw the person who beat me up..he didn't get in trouble at all and actually got praised by teachers, students and staff. I got dirty looks from everyone except my Chorus and LA teacher. those two were the only ones who got me through that and my coming out gave courage to other students to come out to me and I started a GSA (gay straight alliance) and we had meetings every tuesday and wednesday. I also made an Anit-bully alliance and we performed concerts (some of them were in chorus and my chorus teacher helped us), held dances, and did study groups. Bullying went down and soon no one had to deal with it anymore..our school was bully free. I felt so good that I and many others did that and it is one of the many things I am proud of!

When I was in elementary I was bullied for liking to hunt and people would make really crude jokes about me killing their pets in the middle of the night and that I was a sociopathic freak. One day I figured out that the person who started those rumors was my closest and only friend. At free time I walked up to him and kicked him in the balls and walked away. I still find it funny to this day that he was scared of me after that and immediately stopped making rumors and he would even try to avoid me in the halls.

Wolfgang Klinger it's all good. Not all of us has been through it, a great many of us has been. Be lucky you didn't have to deal with it, the physical beat downs, the verbal ridicule at your expense in front of everyone, it sucked. Still sucks for thousands more kids today. The only problem I have with bullies now, besides that there are still bullies is the fact that kids are no longer allowed to defend themselves. At least not here in California. My son's been suspended a couple of times for fighting, but the school didn't tell me he was defending himself or another kid, he had to tell me. So when I picked him and found out, we went and had some fun.

People don't like this song because? This song is a good example to stand up to a bully. And people say that people who get bullied are taking it to seriously? That's called being sensitive. And some people says bullies have feelings.? So, doesn't mean that they have to take it out on us. Would you rather let the bully kill himself or the bullied kill themselves.

MsEv4ever Turning the other cheek won't make it better. So at least if you can kick their fucking asses it might make them realize not to mess with you. Create an image, the image of a dangerous, dangerous person. Wear black, leather jackets. Keep your hands in your pockets, as if you were hiding a knife (even if you got nothing, fear works well). Fight fire with fire. Intimidate them and they'll be scared.
The reason why bullies bully is because the victims appear weak, or at least, weaker than them. In actuality, bullies aren't any stronger than the weakest part of their victims.
Believe me, I know what I'm talking about. I was bullied in elementary school. In the summer between my 7th and 8th grade, I changed styles. I started listening to hardcore music and wearing chains, black, platform boots. Oh believe me, nobody dared even talk to me. When I got in high school, nobody even thought of messing with me because I looked like a fucking criminal (even though I wasn't... the worst I've done is smoke a joint... lol).
Create that image, even if it isn't who you are. When you walk around, keep your head high and look either directly in front of you, or up to the sky. Stare at people in the eyes: avoiding their eye contact makes you seem weak. If someone punches, you punch back.
Defending yourself is a right. You have nothing to feel guilty about.

MsEv4ever this struck me hard. I was bullied in Middle School & into high school, but then got this reputation as being kind of tough an untouchable. I didn't start fighting back until I graduated college & had an abusive boss. They didn't even give me a desk of my own so my "desk" was the end of his desk in his small office in the back of the floor. He'd wait for there to be an audience in the room outside of his office and then start screaming at me and berating me. It was like a full 8 hour work day of being told I was incompetent and worthless, unable to learn and like I lied and about my qualifications (even though I most certainly did not)
Whenever I started talking back and making an effort to fight back for myself, I would feel awful and like I was losing sight of myself. It hurt and I'd leave work crying in my car more often than not. It was only 3 months out of my life, but it completely ruined me.
My next job, though, I had this AMAZING boss who helped me heal over a matter of 5 weeks. I was perfectly fine again because he believed in me and showed me all the reasons to value myself and my skill set.
I think what I'm trying to say is that - it hurts so hard to lose sight of yourself and your morals and who you are. I think the trick is to remember to be strong. It's a phase. Once you get through it, you'll find your chance to heal. I think the best way of fighting back is to constantly remind yourself that you're a better person and you know right from wrong and you are strong enough to get up every day and put yourself out there without fear of being put down. IT pays to lose sight of caring what others think of you or say to hurt you. It can be very hard, but it'll give you the strength to carry on and come out on the other side of it a stronger, more respectable person. Hang in there, okay?

Don't feel guilty hun... You shouldn't tolerate any mistreatment and love yourself. Why should you feel bad for standing your ground? It's not any worse than what they do to you..

I remember as a kid my glasses would always get knocked off my face by a kid who bullied me regularly, one day I was having a bad day and he came by and knocked all my books down from my locker and flipped off my glasses, so i took one swing a broke his nose and made him ugly.

***** Actually that is the very definition of psychical bullying. Insulting someone by calling him fat, crazy, lazy etc. That is mental abuse. Your whole post shows me one thing, that you actually approve bullies and their way of treating people and that you might be one of them. "then you are probably doing the whole of humanity a huge favor." So you actually think that if someone is sensitive and words hurt him/her more then other people, they should take their lives because they are sensitive and react to certain stuff differently? Honestly, don't take this the wrong way, but if you truly believe in this and there is no other reason to write this if you don't then i would warm heartedly recommend you to seek professional help as soon as possible. You are potentially a risk to other people. Cause surprise, surprise, sensitive people do exist, not everyone is the same which doesn't mean you get to insult and abuse them, be it psychical or physical. Which doesn't mean you get to say if they deserve to live or not! And bullies are not there to make other people stronger, bullies are most of the time people that are troubled with their own complexes. "Human diversity" as you said does exist (that is also why certain people can react better when bullied, and certain people not), but that doesn't mean that discrimination and abuse should exist and be excused. The definition of "better", "good" should not and is not based on evil, pain and wrong doing, it is based on moral standards and ethical way of thinking and perceiving the world. Evil is not done in order to make anyone good or better, evil is done because of different reasons. You are showing all signs and the pattern of thinking of a bully. So, once again, professional help. I really recommend. And i hope it helps and changes the way you think. :)
P.S: The song is great! ;)

***** Got news for you partner, evil and wrong go hand in hand, you're right or you're not its as simple as that, there's no gray area anywhere in there, no middle ground. Bullying of any sort is WRONG AND EVIL! Do you think the Christian God approves this? NO! He sent his SON to bear the sins of the world so shit just like what you're saying wouldn't happen! The Mafia, gangs, etc. aren't evil?! Is that what you're saying? Murderers aren't evil?! Because I have news for you dude or chick or whatever you are, if someone dies over something that's said to them in spite, hatred, or bullying meaning by heart condition, suicide, or whatever else its called Involuntary Murder which DING DONG can land you with a sentence in prison. Clearly you have a warped logic, I don't care what you think your "point" is from something as unreliable as wikipedia and if you think for a single moment that God is with you on this one, you're dead wrong. Remember Moses? He led the oppressed from Pharaoh by God's command. And before you go trying to contradict me, know this: I come from a religious family so I'm know what I'm talking about! There's no divine power on your side, in fact you may need to remember to read over the good book again and realize that in the Old Testament especially people were struck down for less than what you've been saying.
Make no mistake, I'm not threatening you, just stating fact. BULLYING IS WRONG! ITS EVIL! AND THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO VIEW IT!
Good job to those who continue to stand tall against it and good for those who say "I won't take this anymore!" and push back!
And suicide is NOT a weakness! Its done when a person's strong heart finally falters and can no longer take the abuse because yes! Mental abuse is bad on a person's heart too it doesn't only have to be physical! If one pushes a person that so far they can't take it anymore, again it is called Involuntary Murder and that my dear warped person comes straight from an officer of the law I've spoken with on the subject when one of my own friends died of a severe heart attack brought on by a bully. Know where the perp is now? PRISON!
You or no one else is above the law, the divine or the laws of man in any way. You are right about one thing though, there's opinion and then there's fact. What you are spouting is a product of your opinion and warped as it is, you're entitled to it. And we the ones who see the truth, see the facts for what it is have the right to be concerned and speak up. If you disagree, if you want to avoid argument which I promise you, you'll lose if you continue then keep your strange opinions to yourself.
Yes, I may seem a little hostile right now, I apologize for that, but I too have been the victim of bullying all the way from kindergarten until now and the bullies even went so far as to drive by my house and BULLY me on my weight, on my appearance, on my intellect, on anything they could think of and even stalked me to the store a few times so they could throw rocks at me when I came out.
I don't know how many times I nearly took a knife to my wrist or throat or visualized pulling the trigger with a pistol barrel to my head all the while sobbing my eyes out, don't know how many times I wrote a suicide note and if it weren't for my parents, little sister, and the few friends I had then constantly giving support I would have been long gone years ago. Yes I got stronger but it was NOT because of what bullies did to me if they changed me at all they made me a cold hearted bitch for a long time and I became a bully myself for a while until I saw what I was doing and straightened MYSELF out. I took a stand against them, not physically, but as I am doing now and apologized to everyone I myself had hurt.
Now I'm 28 almost 29 and have written a book (not published yet) have more friends than I can count, have an amazing and wonderful girlfriend, and stronger than ever, and NOT because of bullies, because of the support and love from friends and family. So you're statement "bullies make people stronger" is a whopper of a freidan ship because I'm living proof that, that's not the case.
Everyone who has been the victim of bullying, don't listen to that person, you can make it. Keep your head high, I know how it hurts, I've been there, but show them you will NOT be taken down, show them how strong you are because trust me there's better things coming. It may not seem like that now, but take it from someone who's been there.
Shinedown, thank you so much for speaking out against bullying its truly a great joy to see stars do so. It reaches out to people who need encouragement and makes some see the error of their ways.
StarClimber009 Thank you for speaking up as well, I'm with you hun. Stand against bullying, fight on against abuse!
And you, ***** if nothing else I've said gets through to you, hopefully at least this does. Look at your opinion, and then look at the majority of the world who stands against everything you've said. I think you'll find our numbers are way higher and think of it like this, we can't all be wrong. I mean, stars are against it, the freaking PRESIDENT is against it, most of the WORLD is! Now tell me....still think bullies aren't wrong in what they do?
Oh and for a closing statement, "can't fight fire with fire" or whatever you said before. Well here's something else for you to ponder. I have personally SEEN kids who were bullied stand up to their bullies and guess what? The bully backed down and they later became very close friends.
STOMP OUT BULLYING LETS END THE VICIOUS CYCLE!
