A pro tip on glueing hardscape would be pretty nice I‘m gonna do the scape for my mini-complete tank soon and I think, it would be quite nice to have a tip on glueing my scape before I do so. Especially since I wanna make sure that there’s no glue visible, because that would be pretty bad in a tank this small, where one would see it way faster than in a bigger tank. Nice video btw, your scapes are really nice and interesting.
Jurijs Jutjajevs Thank you for the tip, I will make sure to do this. I plan on making a mini island-scape and so I‘ll have to glue tiny pieces of lava-lock together to make the „border“ for my island, so your tip will really help me a lot.
Hello Could you tell me how you moved the aquarium? I'm thinking about moving my tanks and I do not know how to do it in a safe way, I'm afraid that the glass will break.
Chief, one question/doubt: - when you use the DSM to start a “lazy” carpet, do you put in CO2 inside the covered tank, to enrich the atmosphere inside? - or do you just start the CO2 after you flood the tank? Thks
Love the story behind this, Jurijs, and that you’ve done your customer a good turn. 😁. Nice looking tank too, an update would be awesome. By the way, the ‘customer’ doesn’t happen to be your dad, does he? 😉
Hi Jurijs, great video. Nice transformation. Will be nice to see it in a few months. As for the glueing tips, yes that would be great. As for the cherry theft, tut tut, naughty. All the best, Martin
Beautiful scape. Just a few questions though Is it ok to add the fish straight back into the water..... did u refill it with RO water or just conditioned tap water. Just confused Because you emptied the whole tank and added new water what about the ecosystem and all the beneficial bacteria’s or will the filter take care of it. Sorry for so many questions 😁
any reason why you don't pull the roots of the trimmed stem plants from the substrate? I think some of them will rot and some of them will grow new plants.
It's fine to leave them. They usually won't regrow as they are outcompeted by the new plants. The roots that rot will just add nutrients back into the soil.
The shrimps.... my god, you're so brutal with them! You know there are entire forums where guys spend their day telling others to let shrimps adapt to new tank water for 3-4 hours? This is supposed to be crucial for their survival :')
@@JurijsJutjajevs Yeah, most rules are meant to be broken especially when you have experience and you know your tanks well. Hello Juris , I always wanted to ask you about the amazing tip you gave us in previous video with the filter wool that divides the substrate from the sand . I am doing this at my tank now but I am wondering if that does any harm long term ? Any issues for the wool to being there for 1 to 2 years ?
