You should use a repeater if you use 300m, in a single connection 185m is fine
You should use a ethernet extender to use above 100m

When using for CCTV use CAT6 or above dont use CAT5 or CAT5e those would give speed lags not reccomended for DVR setup.

For 10gbps you need Cat 7 or higher
