Well it's not that uncommon now to see big age gaps couples, i've known a lot and I myself have 13 years of diference with my partner, we met when I was 18 and not one of the guys I met my age was like him so..that was it (note: where I live the legal age is 18, so i wasn't a minor just to clarify😂)
I don’t think dating someone who is under 20 or around early 20’s is picky when your 27. You’re at a different stages in your life and sometime those two phases don’t always match up.

To avoid any future issues, they really should ask preferences like age. Sure you may be able to figure out some "deal breakers" yourself, but since you wouldn't waste a question on age, you won't know if a contestant is too old/young for you.
