It doesn't matter until it starts impacting their own revenue stream. The fact that these sort of things continue happening and people continue overpaying for homes in these same areas, there's no reason for intervention. The buck starts and stops with the homeowner unfortunately. Too dangerous? Pay for home security. Car broken into? Get insurance...the list goes on and on.

Unfortunately, the ability to enforce or deny said authority is based on power. The system has been completely corrupted to the point there will be no accountability, so thus, they can act beyond their means. The Founders already warned this would happen with foreign influence and despotism.

@johnmurphy7830 The USCCA are not lawyers on retainer. There's a fine line on the agreement you sign with them. They will not always defend you in court, even if you were within your legal rights in defending yourself.

I would encourage anyone that carries to hold concealed carry insurance. There's at least four major companies out there that offer coverage that will pay for bail, criminal/civil defense court costs, and offer a LOT of training with their programs. You need the insurance BEFORE a critical incident.
Do not comply. They cannot revoke your 2nd Amendment right because you had to use it to save your life.

This is exactly why I belong to US Conceal Carry Association USCCA. They provide attorneys that will advise you immediately and self defense liability insurance.

Not only did Jesus tell His disciples (and us) to gather to ourselves the normal items needed to survive, but also if needed, to even sell the shirt off our back to buy a weapon for protection. We are not yet in Heaven, we still live in this physical realm and in such, we must prepare physically.
