    Hi Danielle and everyone who reads the comment! I want to thank you so much for this so wonderful, helpful video which is so precise,so well organised, and really full of great advices. I have seen a lot of videos and I can't remember ,having seen a so complete video about really techniques of composition.
    Today, a lot of people have all great cameras, and on internet, they all loose their time, in comparing the specifications of their "toys" and they forget the most important about their fotos. How to do them, how to compose , what is my subject, my background 🤔🤔??.you have made it here in a very brilliant and intelligent way, which add also to your natural charm. Thanks a lot for this ❤ ❤(you already made a wonderful video about the settings of our dslrs for bifs)I still have your settings on my nikon d5!!

      Hello Francois. Thanks very much for the kind feedback! I know - people get very suck on technical arguments in stead of just using what you have to get the best shot. So true! The basics still matter :-)
      Thanks again!

      @@PangolinWildlife thanks for your so kind answer ❤❤! Of course the problems of how to compose a photo, are much more complicated than the specs of a camera. But if we want to improve our artistic level, it is of course what we all have to do. What do I want to show and how can i do this with my camera?. And if we want to put in practice all what you showed in your video in a so brilliant way, we have a lot of work 😀 🙂🙂.Thanks so much Danielle 🙏

    Excellent video! However more times than not I want to include part of the background to show the environment that my subject calls home. This isn't always the case but more times than not it is. Again, an as always excellent video on a very confusing subject for alot of photographers with limited experience. I learned photography using film, so you had to be sure of your shot as there were no do overs after viewing the image.

    Great video as always Danielle, What would be your advice on getting closer to animals in a way thats respectful for them and safe for you? (if you don't have a boat)

    • @PangolinWildlife
      @PangolinWildlife  2 роки тому +1

      Thanks Danny. We always look at the animal's behaviour. We're very fortunate here in the sense that the animals are used to us but if they're not I would keep my distance and increase my zoom. Always read their behaviour, if they show nay signs of irritation or discomfort then rather keep your distance.

    Amazing video. You covered all the points!
    However I did have one question. In certain scenarios when there is a bird in the bush. There is only one angle to shoot from, but there are too many distractions. How would you isolate subject and background?

    • @PangolinWildlife
      @PangolinWildlife  2 роки тому +2

      Hi there. You can apply the few solutions that I mention (zoom in, lowest f-number, use portrait orientation). If still not working, then I just watch :-)

    you can also use the brush or healing tool to get rid of any unwanted objects in the background. Of course that's cheating in wildlife photography 😂
