@@JohnnyDarko01 The reason why it says 28 weeks later is because its the title of the movie and the reason why it says 28 days later is because when he left his wife and that one kid that was day 28 of how long they were in the safe house
@@JohnnyDarko01 Oh, I have no idea the guy might have messed up on the title and lost his account a while back due to this video being uploaded in 2008 so the world may never know!! lmao
This song actually played in a dream I had one time. I befriended a talking pigeon that had been artificially infused with magic. We both went to this tower to stop a group of thieves called the "Bandana Gang", or something like that. When I woke up, I knew I had heard the song SOMEWHERE, but couldn't remember. Then I remembered "Oh yeah, it's the theme from 28 Days Later!"
ive never seen the movie and i can feel the intense emotions and story and blood and tears inside this song, it makes me feel determined, it keeps me going no matter how broken down and depressed i am
I think y'all are bein' a bit too optimistic and slightly over-reacting here. We're all gonna die, as you know. I don't think it matters, though. I have a similar strong association of zombies and fear and death with this song as well, btw. But anyway... I seriously doubt this guy's at all in need of cheering up, and is just sharing his emotional connections with this song. It's not like ignoring that death is inevitable will do anything.
william ortez I'm honestly not sure how to reply. I could say "Fuck off", or "Eat shit", or something else, but that'd be a bad way to convey something, so I'll try the long way. Please just go away. This chain is many months old, and you don't need to be the fucking boss of anyone. Like seriously. Did you need to comment on a post from September 2014 that expressed an opinion and emotional connection to a song, and be an asshole while doing so? I mean what the fuck. I JUST CAN'T UNDERSTAND why you would post this stupid comment. Let the fucker express his opinion, please. Or do I need to address you as Master Hitler?
my father was born and raised in england, he moved to america to start his own yacht business from scratch. When he was a kid he could take a car apart and build it back together in a couple days, he sailed the seas on a sailboat when he was 19 alone. He is now very successful with his yacht business, he knew almost everything about them his whole life. School didn't teach him any of the stuff he knows today. He self taught himself all he knows about boats.
I liked both movies, I find it sad when someone says a movie is crap because they did not enjoy it themselves, to each their own guys, to each their own.
I agree. It is something impress on my children: whether you like something and whether it is good are two different things. I personally don't like jazz music, but I can listen to it and appreciate good vs. bad talent...
FINALLY! EUREKA! Man, I've randomly had this song in my head and I've been searching all night for this freaking song! Time to favorite it and add it to my music before I forget again.
Snow blaze Pretty much the entire population of zombified Britian VS British army. I think the first one is going to win also when a zombie kills a soldier they come back to life as a zombie. Imagine it as fighting a army that constantly grows bigger whenever one of your soldiers die. Yeah that's pretty much it.
+chris kematch why is this bothering you? seriously, have you got nothing better top do than look for attention by trolling channels like this. This is a great bit of music and it suits the film perfectly. simple and effective. - see. thasts how its done.
This is terrifying, I hope someone else out there can relate to the sense of isolation, desperation, panic, dread, fear, anxiety, anger and confusion associated with this song. This song speaks to me on a whole other level, I don't believe that zombies exist but holy crap, you cant deny this sets the tone.
The music is haunting. That part when he's running from the diseased across the field and this music is playing- it kinda makes me speechless. That slight moment is poetic and fluid. Hard to explain and a lot of people do not catch it.
This oddly is not a depressing song for me, it makes me think of being left alone having full control of your actions for once and needing not to worry about what others think of you. It makes me want to LIVE
I think this piece truly depicts the 'everything you know is going to shit' idea. And I feel the movie(s) portrayed it very well with the usage of the song (I forgot when it is heard but I know it fitted pretty darn well).
I just watched full metal alchemist brotherhood and this song reminds me of it....best anime ever and sooo dark filled with comedy moments...I loveee it
Love the movie and the track is perfect, sets the tone just right. To this day I will never understand how they filmed Ldn so empty without the use of CGI. Reminds me of the 1st day of the congestion charge
Every time i hear this i immediatly thi k of the scene where theyre at the carnival an they run from horde. Great movie. Love the sense of abandonment an fear this song portrays
Interestingly enough, it has that blurry look because it was one of the early big movies shot on digital, and at the time it had to be blurred slightly to avoid pixelation. The movie side by side talks about it a lot and how the camera work is so versatile because they were pretty much 'consumer' handheld cameras.
Amazing music. I preferred the second movie to the first. Just because some people think its "crap" doesn't make it a crap movie. I thoroughly enjoyed it. The music is hauntingly beautiful especially when it kicks in.
like something u'd hear in a regular rts... at the start, slow paced building and amassing armies. then in the middle and near the end, the fighting gets heavy and at the end, just running over enemy's base
Actually I found that 28 Days Later is very personal and this was one of the reasons why it was so groundbreaking because it zoned in on the human behavior in an outbreak such as this. The final scene is such a good example of this. Not hating on The Walking Dead, I just think that it drew A LOT of influence from 28 Days, just look at the intro.
One of the most iconic songs I've ever heard. So simple too.
Is it just me or does this song get your heart going every fucking time.
Yep me too. Adrenaline man fucking love it

Man I remember watching this show with my grandma and we would jam out to this song. God bless her soul
Such a simple underlying melody that builds so effectively. Goosebumps without the film... hair-raising with it! :)
This soundtrack always reminds me that death will always come for me. No matter who you are, it will someday find you, it is inevitable.
