    Broth makes soup SO delicious!! You get all those nutrients from the bones that apparently are really good for you!!

    Lamb bones makes wonderful stock and great scotch broth soup

    Vegetable soup sounds so good! I do have some quarts left from last year, but I know I will need more. Your broth looks beautiful, so rich and deep brown. I'm sure it will add a lot of flavor to your soup. Have a great day.

    We are getting a whole hog in October and 1/2 beef in November. I will be busy making broth and restocking my pantry. Im going to try roasting the bones on my smoker/grill and see if we liked the flavor. At least enough for one batch of broth. I’m well stocked with chicken broth but still make broth whenever I bake a whole chicken and use it in the next few days.

    can you not use the meat you cut of the bones, to put in the soup later?

      Absolutely and we did. Just pull it out when you strain out the veggie scraps ☺️
