I praise God for his forgiveness, for giving me a purpose and focus. To live for God everyone around thinks I'm unusual. Those that new me before and those I'm around today.

Im not tired of watching this study! I’ve watched if 3 or 4 times and it’s obvious he is a man of God! Truly this teaching is so deep and can’t really argue about it you may have so questions but I trust it is inspired by God!

Glory to God, 'll watch this again for there are numerous essential fact to true spiritual growth.
I desire to only serve God, we all struggle with old human nature. Do I have to walk away from everyone to completely commit to God? My church now for I seem stuck?
Lived a life without GOD, last 5 years have been difficult (Philippians 1:6, 2:12, 3:12-14)

There is no error in his teaching, holiness in the Greek mean "moral Purity", (Lexicon; Strongs Concordance G42) in the Hebrew tongue "Holiness" means apartness, holiness, sacredness, separateness (Lexicon; Strongs Concordance H6944).
Israel was holiness unto the LORD (Jeremiah 2:3) They were separated and dedicated to GOD as a people. Amen

Me: Notices that someone left a very long comment saying something stupid like "you should study this in the hebrew"!
Me: Visualize the apostles dusting there feet off while leaving the city.

The [New Birth] is an offer to believe and either choose to [enter] into God's kingdom or reject the offer!
Many words, be they Hebrew, Greek, or even English, can have two definitions. Such is the case in John 3:3, as we read: "Except a man be [born again] he cannot [see] the kingdom of God.
The Hebrew in Jn 3:3 (born again) can be translated as [gennao:] conceived or birthed; and [anothen:] from above or again. Nicodemus chose the second definition on both words; therefore, he asked {Jn. 3:4}, "How can a man be born (birthed) when he is old? can he enter a second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" Jesus, of course, actually meant (1) to be conceived; and (2) to be conceived [from above]. So we read the scripture thus: "Except a man be conceived of God, he cannot SEE (come out of the darkness and into) the kingdom of God."
When the Israelites were brought out of Egypt, the [SAW] the Promise Land, but did not enter in because of their unbelief. They were chastised for their unbelief by wandering in the desert for forty years!
    Brother V.

I don't know that I ever heard a functional definition of "holiness".... How can I live a holy life if I don't know what it is...???? If I missed it, can you inform me where it is in this message?

Emi Ta Ok smarty pants - how about giving me the beginning minute when the definition was given. I was into this at least 15 minutes and did not hear anything but the word holiness with NO functional definition.
I look forward to a specific time which I can review. Thanks, Bill.

Bill. The Holy Ghost will lead you into all truth. I did not know what holiness was per say; it was the Holy Ghost that has led me to where I am in His holiness today. Live by faith, submit to an Apostolic pastor, and study the Word. I pray the Lord leads you to the answers that you seek to find.

Dress modest, yet dress to impress men and compete with woman. I see this within church even more. Back to the basics in clothing.

the principles of true holiness is the name of our savior himself and the teachings of the apostolic Doctrine is the name Jesus if you look up this name to see where it come from how long it's been around and the later the J itself it doesn't go past five hundred years ago the name Jesus is only 400 years old the letter J is only 500 this is not the messiah's real name never has been he is the same yesterday today and forever when the angel Gabriel came he said to call his name yahushua for he shall save his people from their sins his name means Yah is salvation. never take anyone at their word study for yourself to see if the foundation of the doctrine is grounded in truth study to see there is no J in Hebrew nor is there the sound of J his name is yahushua

In the original Greek, "holiness" means to purify, or consecrate, to make holy, to set apart for God, separation TO God, to sanctify, to make a person or thing holy; it does NOT mean "separation and dedication to God" as DKB says above. There is a difference here, and if you checked the original Greek you would find that his teaching here is in error.
