Paris has gone to a lot of work to troubleshoot for y'all! Thank you goes to her, remember to thank her. #1 Guys there are no short cuts in candle making, period!!! You have to test and test religiously! I do all the time. It pays to keep accurate notes on everything you do. Keep a notebook. Track every batch. Write down every part of your process. The kind and amount of wax. The fragrance load and where you bought it. The temperatures you melted to, added fragrance and at what temp you poured at. How long you stirred to combine wax and fragrance, how far apart they were when solidifying, how long you cured. Always put a lid on your jars during curing to lock in fragrance. No lid? Put a board over them while they cure. Then heat seal them in polypropylene bags.. ( shrink wrap) to seal in fragrance.
These are just a few things you should be doing. Along with everything Paris has already taught you. You can achieve your goals. Candle making is a science. You can't shatter the rules and expect to achieve success. I'll tell you something Noone else will. If you don't love the science of candle making, get out it's not for you. Find another source of income. If you think candle making is scientific, don't try soap making or skin care. Your dealing with multiple chemicals or chemical reactions! These fields of expertise aren't for the faint hearted!
If you do enjoy the art, there are always people to help. However, you have to do the work of testing. No one can do it for you! Good luck to all the people who have joined the candle makers club. Welcome aboard to an awesome adventure!
    PS: Hi Paris!

Omg! I love you! I’ve been watching candle making tutorials and it’s either aggressive dudes mansplaning the processes or it’s Betsy Etsy who, like, uhmagod says the same thing 12 times when it only needed said once.
YOU though- you’re funny, intelligent, solution oriented who can explain the problem and solution in a well spoken, easily understood way and ya move on LOL I appreciate you acknowledge your viewers are adults and know how to rewind if they need to hear something again.
If you can’t tell I was at my wits end with these tutorials - and not to be ungrateful they’re free and those people didn’t HAVE to make them BUT let’s just say I’m just glad I found your free, didn’t have to make them videos.
Thank you SO much. I don’t have to throw a brick through my computer monitor any more! So double win! LOL

Love your videos Paris❤️ I made some candles the other day and while they were curing I noticed the wax from one out of five of my tin container candles was a darker yellowish color. That was puzzling because I didn’t add any color to the wax. Also in one of my glass containers it had a sink hole. In that one candle making session with the jars and tins I experienced at least three of the imperfections you discussed. What really almost had me in tears was the fact that several of my glass jar containers the wax didn’t adhere to or pulled away from the sides of the jar. Thanks so much for the tips. I’m definitely getting that heat gun, lol. I bought a reference text for candle makers a while back. However I appreciate you sharing the downloadable reference. You are”bomb.” Thanks a bunch!!!🤗👍🏾
