Great video! I've Been looking at Wrx's since early 2023 but interest rates were at about 7-8% my credit union was surprisingly higher at 9%. Kept an eye on the market and waited because I knew thing were going to change. My patience paid off and I got to buy the WRX I wanted with a $6000 discount and 0% interest! Love driving it knowing I didn't over pay and I plan on keeping it for awhile!
Hey Daniel, quick question I take it your wheels are 19x 8.5 +55mm offset. Looking to pick up a set of these and wondering if you had to run spacers or anything not sure what the +17mm extra offset does. Have a TR (rs) for Canada and looking for winter wheels and tires. Not sure if 18s would fit
At 4,743 miles on my 2 month old TR and I couldn’t be happier! About to change the oil (for the second time) to HKS to keep this machine running awesome.
Hey Daniel I'm in a similar position. I have a 22 base WRX on a 22 year lease and the Lease is almost done. Can't figure out either to get a new lease or buy this one out.
Same kinda, but i got the base model with the 2 small screen and i prefer that. Also the new base model in 2024 has the bigger screen and is 2k more expensive. So i think ill buy my lease in 8 months.
Hi Arnold, if you love the car, I would buy it out. But, let's say you really wanted a higher trim level, then I'd consider a new lease, or maybe looking to finance a pre-owned 2022 of a higher trim level
A nice review Daniel, i own a 2023 Ice Silver VB Premium SPT and i sure enjoy driving this car. My 23 VB is now my 5th new WRX since 2005.. They are a wonderful drivers car 👍Au
No issues at all. Once the engine is warm, and from outside the car, it’s not that loud. I’ve been pulled over for speeding, but no mention of the exhaust noise from the cop. lol 🤫😂
@@DanielKwetny Thats interesting because the downtown and burrard area is notorious to have cops catching modified cars and is unfair to hand out VI's. I frequent the area and hesitate to put on a catback on my brz. On a side note, I appreciate the videos you put out, if I had found your channel sooner I would have gotten the brz from u!

That’s amazing! Well done waiting for the right time. Love getting a good deal

Good insight. Cheers
I recognize the area. I used to live there. I hope you drive this car for a long time. It's the cheapest way to own. Plus this is a nice one.
Thanks HLK. I do love the West End, and love my WRX. See you around 👍
@@DanielKwetny For sure.

Curious what’s the reason behind keeping the mileage low? I just had 2000 mile road trip with my gt and enjoyed it.
If the cars are cheaper to buy second hand than buy out then just hand it back at end of the lease and then try to buy it back at the lower price.
Thanks. In this case, I wouldn't be able to get one cheaper used. It's close, but still a better deal to buy-out, in my case.
exhaust sounds great but any problems getting the attention with the police in van?
