St. Mary’s ICSE School, Koparkhairane, Celebrates 25 Glorious Years with a Grand Silver Jubilee Event
St. Mary’s ICSE School, Koparkhairane, Navi Mumbai, proudly marked its 25th anniversary with a spectacular Silver Jubilee Celebration held on Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Vishnudas Bhave Auditorium, Vashi. The event, graced by the His Excellency Shri C. P. Radhakrishnan, Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra, as the Chief Guest, was a heartfelt tribute to the school’s legacy of excellence in education and service to the community. The public meeting was presided over by His Grace Geevarghese Mar Coorilos, Archbishop of the Orthodox Diocese of Mumbai and Manager of MOCCB Institutions. Shri. Ashok Shingare, Collector, Thane District, Shri. Kailash Shinde, Commissioner, Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation and Shri. Prashant Mohite, DCP, Zone 2, Navi Mumbai, Rev. Fr. Thomas Chacko, Secretary - MOCCB, Rev. Fr. Abraham Joseph CEO- MOCCB also graced the Silver Jubilee Celebrations.
The program commenced with the arrival of the Hon’ble Governor, followed by the National Anthem and State Song, setting a patriotic and solemn tone. His Grace Geevarghese Mar Coorilos, led a heartfelt prayer and performed the lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment.
Vice Principal Fr. John Mathew delivered a moving welcome speech, reflecting on the school’s remarkable journey, its values, and its vision for the future.
The release of the Silver Jubilee Magazine by the Hon’ble Governor was a key highlight, showcasing the school’s achievements and milestones over the past 25 years. The Governor also took the opportunity to felicitate former principals, committee members, and outstanding students, acknowledging their invaluable contributions to the institution’s success.
In his inspiring address, the Hon’ble Governor lauded St. Mary’s ICSE School for its dedication to holistic education and community building. His words resonated with the audience, instilling a renewed sense of pride and purpose.
