It’s all MJ, this is not the first time BTS/member paid homage to MJ. You should see the choreography video, full on outfit MJ. Nobody hiding where this inspiration is from. Jackson family members have even acknowledged their tributes to their Michael.
Jungkook does this style very well, he does everything well so it’s no surprise.
He gave us 90s/2000s with 3D , now he goes back even further to 70/80s retro funk.

No revelation guys. This is intentionally an homage to Michael Jackson because of the influence that MJ has had on Jungkook. It was even mentioned in some press from HYBE/Big Hit.
I can hear the MJ in this song. And the long detailed choreo he did on Jimmy Fallon! I’m a fan! Today I actually decided to give jungkook a look. I stayed away from bts till now because of how weird and psycho the supporters seem. But jungkook is raw talent!
I get you and there many who feel the same. Sorry you feel that way abt some supporters of bts...the fandom (Army) is global, huge & diverse...sadly the toxic ones are the noisiest/loudest. It's so nice that it didn't stop you from checking JK and hopefully the other projects out. Good music is good music....it's fun to watch especially artists who are from humble beginnings and stay grounded. Wow, this was terribly painful to watch. It would have been better to straight out admit you were just not into the song rather than made such a poor job of hiding your distaste and making inane and awkward comments. And to even repeatedly read stuff wrongly from the screen. 🙄
There's nothing wrong with not liking a song or artiste; people would understand if you had expressed your criticisms in a professional manner. Do everyone a favor and just don't even bother reacting to artistes you don't like.
