So sad to see the state of these places, so much left, so many memories and fascinating things. Thats saddle soap on hearth, keeps saddles supple and shiny. My nan had a treadle sewing machine like that, i loved playing with the big peddle. Amazing place, thank you
Oh Alec,What a truly awesome farm. All re beautiful antique wood furniture, the rich leather furniture with the beautiful heavy drapes and floor to match ,the beautiful glass ware, fireplaces, just magnificent, and the wall paper,I still have a singer still works great, I think about everyone had one back in the day.It looks like the house could be saved I sure hope someone does. The inside of the car looked pretty clean too.Very,Very,Awesome.Thank you.🖒😍🇺🇸💗💖
Seen this place many times on social media but you documented it perfectly it actually felt like I was walking around with you, your filming technique is second to none. Thank you for posting.
That really looks like a Stud Farm l worked at many years ago. The Stained glass window really pinged a memory.....and the kitchen..... I wish they had shown the stables....ld have known then.
Thankyou for giving us a good look around. It is a good job that you are documenting these as people are removing things & decay is progressing all the time. At least people can see these places on video now.
This was a stunning and quite grand house in it's heyday, lots of very expensive walnut furniture. I don't understand why beautiful things would be left behind,it is quite heartbreaking to see this sadness and decay of what once was a stunning home
Great explore, beautiful old sewing machine and cabinets. The China was gorgeous, the fireplaces were both very pretty, a shame the one was broken at the bottom. That paper was in great shape to be dated 1934. Pretty fancy television for back in the day. Such a shame all the leather cushions were gone. There is the cupboard under the stairs 😁. Doll bed, the antique furniture is very nice, a shame it is left to rot, I find it strange that all this furniture is left, but there are no beds. Loved it 💞
The cake tins are for making fancy little choux pastry delicacies, which would usually be filled with whipped cream & have chocolate on top. We all had to learn to make them in the girl guides. I think it was part of what we had to do for the Hostess badge. We also did meringues too.
Awesome place, awesome explore as always mate!, loved the strange old bath,😁, the stained glass window n the child's doll furniture are cool!, the curtains in the living room reminded me of a pair of kilts!🤣🤣, Takecare guys!😜✌🇬🇧
Hi Alec. What a cute house. Big property. That sewing machine is MINE. Beautiful cabinets. Really interesting find. Thank you for the tour. There is No one around they are all in front of their tv's watching football. Cheers. See ya next time. Stay safe.
Thanks for another great explore, Alec. You were correct, it was awesome. It’s been a nice place in its day. As well as the fine buildings, the fitted drapes and pelmets with the upmarket tv (in its day mind!) and leather lounges make me think that it was a reasonably well-to-do family. I had to chuckle when you said about the stove door on a previous explore as I’d just thought of it as soon as I saw it, and then you’d said about it!! Some great old furniture. The blue and white crockery looked nice. Very traditional farmhouse! Lovely Singer sewing machine too. Liked the dolls’ beds. Some wee lass has enjoyed them in the past. I Sad that some people need to trash things even to graffiti in the dust, especially when you’re so respectful. I like the way you’ve interposed your photos in the video. Thanks again.
Alec, I love the photograph of this place! The furniture and objects are magnificent, special! Abandoned since 1990, it is very healthy. Favorite video! 🤩 🌷😘
Very impressive home with high end furnishings! I like the Singer 66 class sewing machine! It was a workhorse, second only to the 201 class 'Dressmaker'! I would not mind owning the house 🏡!
I would have liked to see inside the farm buildings. Was it a dairy farm? It looks old enough to have a bothy so there might be evidence of the farm workers. The binder you found in the cart shed belongs in a museum, It was the forerunner to the combine harvester and was revolutionary in its day.
Thinking perhaps they raised horses from the looks of it and certain things in the house (plus the curtain material with a horse print). Sure would've loved to have seen the inside too.
@@williebeamish5879 It was all empty and we had top leave early because we seen a couple checking our car out as we had to abandoned it on a country road
This house must’ve been a lovely family home when the family lived there! Love the furniture and the Spode dinnerware as well! It’s a pity that family members don’t care about saving these items!
YES! My kind of abandonment and old vintage decay! Loving this already. I just checked that Mcguiness Old Canada Whiskey, that bottle and label design is from 1960. Masterofmalt.com website, also states, this bottle is from a private collection. Who the heck lived there??? 🤔🔎I wish I could have seen the model # of the Singer Sewing machine. Loving the video Alec, great find! 😁👍🏻 Loving that Old Console Television, RGD -UK 1950-1959.
What a beauty this one was Alec, felt quite emotional watching that ! Time has just stood still since he/she passed away and I reckon one of those pictures on the fireplaces was the owner but i guess we'll never know. Those fireplaces were beautiful, the little baby cradle was so cute 😍 I bet those stables were bustling many years ago, full of beautiful horses being taken out to plough the fields or ridden by the owners. Can't believe that car is still just sitting there all these years later. I absolutely loved this one and by the way, you're obsessed with Singer sewing machines Alec 😅😅 Thanks for filming, I absolutely love these old finds 🥰👍
You did a fantastic job of showing this vintage farm house. You gave us such a good view of things the family possessed, which showed us the things they used back in the day. Super interesting. Thank you so much for the tour. Loved it!
What a cool place with all those beautiful pieces of vintage furniture. Love old sewing machines like that one. I had one as a show piece. Love the mirror on the vanity at 18:19, it’s gorgeous and love the vanity itself along with the 2 wardrobes, absolutely beautiful!! What a house!! Really enjoyed this, thanks Alec!!😊
Such a shame the house wasn't sold on,,would have thought there would have been other family members to take it on,,watched a video from a month ago on the same place,,that car has had its front and back windows smashed,,such a shame folk want to vandalise stuff,,great video
Hi Alec, what a great place, even the guy had his man cave, picture of the horse had to be a beautiful show horse and looked like he was getting ready to go to auction for some draft horses for his farming. I enjoyed seeing the horses, looked like they were pretty wealthy in the day. The still photographs you took were really good, you sure do have a good eye for that. This explore was a great one. This place was really amazing, thanks for the tour. 😘
