hmmm see your point but both are different. I play both and enjoy both equally! UK Racketball has much more of an aerobic demand than the speed and power of squash. The ball is much different so the tactical play in terms of weight of shot, time to kill, and types of shots are where it differs to squash slightly. In the UK, this game is just as popular in some of the bigger the clubs because two relatively new-to-the-game players can have a lot longer rallies and 'better' matches. I know from talking to people that racketball has saved their club as it increases court usage and memberships. I don't see the sports as competitors, but should compliment each other at each clubs landscapes. One benefits from another... Hope this helps!
I played squash and switched to this as I didn't want any injuries from lunging into corners. I'd already snapped an achilles. I'm back to playing this and the cardio workout is something else.
