Transform Your Art! Pop Art Painting Demonstration with Michelangelo | NeonDavid

- I'm excited to share with you my new Pop Art stencil painting demo! In this video, I'm going to show you how I create a unique portrait that represents Michelangelo's David statue, all while adding my own personal touch, inspired by street art.
This painting, done on a 73x92cm (29"x37") canvas, is a vibrant mix of Pop Art, street art influences, and abstract touches. I've used a stencil that I designed myself, along with acrylic paint and spray paint.
It all starts with placing my stencil and applying the spray paint or roll to outline the contours and placement of colors. Then, I work on the background with acrylic paint, spray paints, and stencils to create a colorful and vivid backdrop inspired by street art. The character, our beloved David, is painted with very light yellow and blue tones. Finally, I reposition the stencil one last time to refine the artwork and achieve clean, sharp outlines.

I really enjoyed watching you paint with 'restraint' during this video. You obviously use care and strong steady skills, but when you were repainting the white edges there was the steady surgeon's hand and I enjoed the blue renderings as well - it wasn't just colour matching, but strong technical form as well.

Where to get the stencils?
I really like the way you work. You are really inspiring!! I have only one question tho. Are you using “golden acrilic” as paint color ? Or you recommend on any other brand ?
It's very good paint, probably the best. But if you're a beginner, you can use liquitex basics, which are already very good and much cheaper. I use Liquitex, Amsterdam and Golden, depending on what I'm painting.

Yes, of course, but personally I don't clean them. The spray paint makes a very thin layer.
