i own and drive a swift..this swift is very bad compared to previous swift's..it might be better on mileage as engine has been detuned and weight reduced by using low quality materials..but build quality and safety is poor and driving on highways does not inspire confidence..

Maruti bodyyil compramise cheythu, tata enginil compramise cheythu. If you want better built quality car, go for Tata altroz or Tiago.. if you want better performance and mileage.. go for Swift. Decision is easy. Ella companiesum compramise cheyyunnund.. to keep car under budget.
For all the people who think the swift in india is compromised in build quality by less body weight... You people need to understand that the swift European model is 100kg lesser weight than the Indian model. Come on people!!! Please try to understand things in a wider frame!.

As this guy said the built quality is low for the price point and totally agreed on the point of veiw in indian consumers about the car safety and the projector headlamps in the top end (which I own) is not worth and visibility is as same as the halogen lamp
