A topic I've been waiting a long time to cover, the Time Dragon. With the new Morte's Planar Parade, from Planescape: Adventures in the Multiverse, reintroducing Time Dragons to 5th edition, it seems like the perfect time to cover one of the games strongest dragons ever.

They're not the only immortal type of dragon that is actually incorrect stellar dragons are also technically as no one has ever actually seen one die they just continue to grow in addition Platinum dragons also don't seem to be technically mortal anymore as there's only three known to exist and all three are God's so you got that one thing incorrect but i can understand how

There is one piece of information a time dragon may have but refuse to divulge: the true nature of the multiverse, as that knowledge would destroy anyone who learned it.
Specifically, there is a conclusion you reach when viewing the simple nature of the universe, that is "discovering the plane of quantum immortality." The moment a mind discovers this, there becomes a split of the universe where that person visits the dimension and becomes immortal, and that's exactly what happens.
    The problem is its opposite.
Because when you've discovered the plane of quantum immortality, you also logically deduce its opposite: the plane of quantum fatality. "Knowledge of this plane" has a similar effect to its opposite immortality plane, but worse. When one of your alternates steps into the plane of quantum fatality, it kills AND ERASES YOU from existence.
This effect only hurts mortals, who can die by normal means. It is one of the secrets the gods (and time dragons) guard from mortals, simply for the sake of "not erasing all mortals from existence" should the knowledge spread.

Love the video. Currently in the process of homebrewing/converting all epic dragons into 5e, while maintaining their original power level. Granted, only the Wyrmling will be usable for an enemy the party actually fights in 99% of campaigns, but my it makes my OCD brain happy to stat out overpowered enemies.

That's fair! I also like to complete the set when converting stats. It's cool that you're doing that for all of the epic dragons. Maybe you could even let the party play as higher CR monsters, like dragons, so they could fight the older Epic Dragons. After all, a monster of a certain CR is roughly equal to 4 players of that same Level.

Honestly, my favourite thing about the new time dragon is the new design. Some people probably like the original design, but i always found it silly. Why would a dragon that has power comparable or exceeding that of gods look like a bunch of time pieces smashed together?

Epic level dragons also have access to the epic level spell seeds this allows them to craft their own spells just like epic level players so feel free to give them spells that no longer exist or that you made yourself tho be careful when making your own spells as anything you use against your players is something your players might want to learn in the future and this can create a problem if you create an overpowered spell

The Time dragon does not appear in the Epic Level Handbook. Only the Force dragon and the Prismatic dragon. I’m pretty sure that the epic Time dragon appeared in an issue of Dragon Magazine.

Yes, you are right! My reference to the Epic Level Handbook was just for the "General" information that applied to all Epic dragons. I think I mentioned the Dragon Magazine Issue but it has been a while since I checked the video.

Yes! The general Epic dragons stuff is in the Epic Level Handbook, but the Time Dragon comes from Dragon Magazine 359. I only mentioned it briefly at the start of the video, sorry for the confusion.

I prefer the design of the new one to the old one. But I find it so disappointing how weak it is. A 3.5 wyrmling is more powerful than a 5 ancient. Honestly, we could have done it like the gods. No stat because you're not supposed to defeat him and maybe the new stats are from an avatar or something

Stellar dragons are the strongest and absolutely biggest
But very powerful as strong as some of the lower ranked gods
