Great find brother. I just have to say that this isn't like an encyclopedia without a teacher that already knows the story. Where are the story tellers? Two major mention of Nagastra: one in Ramayana when Indrajit uses it against Rama and Lakshmna (when Garuda comes from Mokshalokam and saves them both) and another is Karna uses it against Arjuna (Krishna presses the ratha and saves Arjuna)
Yes this was a very pivotal moment in Mahabharata, as soon as you mentioned the big toe, I knew that was Sri Krishna and story you were referring to. If I’m not wrong , this Nagastra ( I think they referred to it as Nagapash) was given to Karna by Takshak as he wanted to avenge the Pandavas for chasing them away from Khandavprasth, which later became Indraprasth.

Amazing video Praveen Bhai ...always we learn something new..Arjuna unknowingly while burning the jungles of Khandavpastra, killed the entire community of nagas for establishing the new kingdom called Indraprast.Only One naga is able to escape , wishes to take revenge and approaches Karna during Mahabharat War . But God be for us , who can be against us . The arrow misses arjuna and hits his helmet which turns green due to poison of that naga . Sri Krishna tells Arjuna to immediately kill the snake before it hits him again.Jai Sri Krishna

That is a pivotal moment indeed. That Karna's powerful bramha-astra given to him as a boon is available only once and had only one chance (longer story) - like a nuclear weapon of today's times ensuring sure death. Krishna saved Arjuna's life by inches with sinking that chariot wheel into the ground. Great deductions Praveen. My temple visits are never the same anymore, thanks to you. 🙏

Incredible research and fascinating work by ancient Indian builders. Once you really understand the depth of ancient Indian culture you will realize that western things are just shallow waters. Every ancient Indian sculpture is so far ahead of any western tradition

Two major mention of Nagastra: one in Ramayana when Indrajit uses it against Rama and Lakshmna (when Garuda comes from Mokshalokam and saves them both) and another is Karna uses it against Arjuna (Krishna presses the ratha and saves Arjuna)
@SaltyShaman it can be used either to kill the victim or immobilise.
@SaltyShaman Likely poisoned arrow.
@SaltyShaman I remember that it poisoned laxman ji and he was covered with snakes. In ramayan show.
This man is a national treasure himself and I hope for all the work he's doing, he gets Bharat-Ratna one day.
Wonderful.

Praveen that I found in all his history lectures...He always addressing these dead stones statues as
" gods " fir an educated man he us lacking knowledge of the truth that that stones can't be
" god " Never was any of them and never can any of them ,in spite of his vast knowledge I hope one day before his death he will acknowledge and admitted that he was totally wrong calling these stones " god " and just to inspire him if they were gods why are they powerless that if a bird shit on any of them face why can't they wipe it off or if some one pee on them why can't they stop the person from doing so , that us to show how helpless these stones are and worst indeed is the stone worshippers....Who has knowledge but have no sense they are worst thst the donkey that carries a cart full of books but does not understand what is it he is carrying.

I've learned so much from your videos about the history, architecture, and culture of these incredible structures. Your videos are so well-made and informative, and they've inspired me to learn more about Indian culture 🇮🇳

Karna was given the Indra astra which he was forced to use on Ghatotkach.Brahma astra was taught to him by Lord Parashuram but he forgot how to invoke it at the last moment due to the curse on him .
