- My son is 19 1/2 months old. He was born with Bilateral talipies. Started walking at 15 months old and here is just how he gets around after starting to walk WITH his boots on.
He will have to wear these until his 4th birthday. :)
UPDATE!! my son is now almost 8yrs old, he is doing well but has had more clubfoot treatment since finishing with the bars at 4yrs old. he had tendon transfer surgerys and plants fascia release'
he does also have an unknown neuromuscular disorder that we are soon finding out the results for his genetic testing!
I'm crying right now this is beautiful my baby is 5 mths.he wears boots and bars .In a week we be going from 23 hrs.in tbe boots to just 12 I'm over excited.THANK YOU so much for giving me hope.

My baby started to wear boots yesterday.. she is crying a lot, and my heart breaks seeing it. How long she will take to adopt with it? She seems extremely happy while removing the bars for 15 minutes break in 6hours

@@emmanuelcleatus5422 babies are resilient. She will soon get used to it. My baby boy cried hysterically for hours and i was almsot having a panic attack. But i kept telling myself he wont remember any of it and will have perfect feet for life. Just hold him to sleep. Even if he wants to sleep on the the whole night thats fine. Youll be surprised how soon they get used to it. All tbe best
My daughter was born with dandy Walker and they said she would never walk ... she was always going to be HIS perfect child beautifully and wonderfully made and these unique experiences and relationships with our kids is a blessing.
I was born with club feet , and have observed these beautiful babies with the same thing .I hope all turns out well for them !

My 3 months old grandson also has the same condition.. a club foot on his right... he's wearing Dennis Brown following a sequence of six casts.. I hope he won't need a surgery...
I realize this is a decade old now but was the first thing to pop up when I searched walking with ponseti bar. My baby was also born with bilateral and is about 21 months now. She walks around in her boots fine on carpet but I was so impressed to see your son walk on the tile! My girl is always slipping. There are only 2 little rubber spots on the bottom of her boots and I've been trying to find something to stick to the bottom of her boots to keep her from slipping. Any advice?

Love it! Ha I'm impressed at how he gets around WITH the bar on! Our son has bilateral clubfeet as well, but he's only starting to crawl right now, I'm looking forward to all these little milestones :)

Hi my question to u did he ever get blisters on the heels or where the mid strap aplies beocuse i have a 4 month thats going thru that treatment and sometimes gets them
How you deal with blisters we are currently having trouble with the middle strap. It's causing pressure sores and we don't know what to do

It's individual for every child. My son to get used to for 1 day. We wearing braces Medvejonok. It's made in Russia.

Sms 12 he wore the boots full time for 3 months then for 3 years he wore them for 12 hours a night. He stopped wearing them at around 3-4yrs old

Sms 12 both! But the treatment with the boots will be the same for one or both as well
@@AusMumma111 my newborn baby he has only one leg but after correction it's became little short near 1 inch compare to good one.. Would it be equal with good one..?? What's say , do you have any idea ? Right now can't contact with with Dr in this pandemic situation 😔

Sorry I'm a year late, my walk still isn't perfect, but it's good enough. My run is horrible though, and it's easy to notice my club foot as it turns a little bit while running.

I was told my baby have it am 5months pregnant I was devastated didnt know what it was even wanted to abort the baby😥😥😨😨😰 First experience never knew what this was untill I did my Research and some Nice doctors told me what it was and now am at Peace and keeping my baby I even changed my old doctors because they were causing me Stress I didn't get much help or proper information from them.but my new doctor's are great..
