There is a legend that at the bottom of the lake there is a world tree that protects a very old spirit. For the locals on the lake, this is not a legend, but a fact; they really believe in it. A spirit can be evil or good, depending on your intentions. If you are confused and you need to find a direction, then you need to stop right on the lake at least for the night and the spirit will show you the way. These were the strangest two nights of my life. This place has incredible energy, there really is something about it. By the way, Russians don’t really like to talk about this place.
