Thank you so much for this... I have been looking for which socket to use for the drain plug but it doesn't really showed up when i searched on youtube. My 520i uses a plastic drain plug as well. I just bought the allen set and will try it when it comes. Cheers Jake!
@@attorney8452 I see what you mean now. I didn't use it. It is a crush washer I think. Doesn't work for this oil change as far as I know. Must be there for a different vehicle type. Sometimes filters come with washers that don't fit your car. I don't see it used in @autorepairguys video and he is very smart at 06:00 ua-cam.com/video/JRCrwep5n5g/v-deo.html
Great video well narrated! Jake's tech suggestions are superb!
Thank you. Not a true professional, but I try and research a lot before filming.
Thank you very much for this video!

Thank you for the video. I am wondering when you reset the oil change reminder, did the check engine light also disappear?
Yes it did.
Well done!!!!
Thank you Johnson.

Can I use ramps?
Yes! Be safe :)
Do not torque down plastic oil filter housings
You can either tighten it down until the lubed ring o-ring disappears or use a torque wrench so you don't overtighten it. My wrench goes low enough.
