I've always been afraid of using adaptive components because their concept was blurry to me, but with your explanations and advices things are much more clear. Thank you very much for this very one!!!
Dude this is an amazing tutorial with step-by-step delivery... I was super happy after seeing my own Revit software to be able to output the design in this video. So grateful to have someone's full walkthrough about adaptive components. Happy to be one of your under 200 subscribers as well. Really wish your channel could grow fast with more views, and keep making more of these tutorials. Thank you so much, dude!!!
Thanks Daryl! Please share the channel with your friends to help it grow ;) Stay tuned as I'll do more tutorial on adaptive components, my favourite Revit tool. Welcome on board!

Hi, any idea to convert the adaptive component (generic model) into column family in revit?
In the column family (not the canopy massing one), you can try switching its category and see if Column is an option.
How can i change the height of trunk? Or add parameter for that ?
Thank you sir
Glad you liked it ☺️
how to change the top height of the forks and also the angles between them? thanks for the whole detailed explanations by the way, i really appresiate
Hi, the tutorial shows how to create parameters for controlling both. Did you follow it step by step?

34:56 I can't select individually the roof. It is grouped as Test 1 when I loaded it in the project file. Hope you can help me
You need to activate the "Roof by face" command first before Revit can let you pick individual surfaces.
Sorry, but I can't move down or up model lines in the metric mass template
Please make sure you are in the right view as showed in the tutorial. The order in which you select things is important too 😃
@@RVBoost Thank you so much for your answer, I solved it. GREAT JOB!
Glad I could help 😊
how do we control overall height of column?
By moving splines on top of those columns in the mass family :)
