Thanks for making this video! Tried my hand at it today, looked up your video on my second attempt and it helped alot, unfortunately I still wasn't able to the lower curve to stay down. I think I'll leave it to the professionals lol
You make it look easy 😂. It's been about 4 months after I did my headlights and honestly cannot notice any bubbles. I had some drunk person fall on my car and headlight late night and scratched the PPF on the headlight. Happy I applied it on there. Only probably is these light scratches aren't coming out with the sun or hot water. Wondering if a heat gun or machine polish will help
Water is for sure over 100 degrees. I don't like to use alcohol for tack just due to is can causes some issues when installing on black paint and sometimes on headlights. The hot water comes out of those 5 gallon water dispenser.
Hot as hell lol. So I looked it up and they only say piping hot water which also means boiling water which is 212 degrees. I do not think its that hot though. It has melt bottles before so its pretty hot. I used primo water dispenser bottom load.
Damn! I'm glad I'm doing basic rectangular LED lights with bulk material. Great video, thanks.
These were not fun lol. Thanks

Lol they were hard no lie. You can try the heatgun just not too much heat 👍.
Damn you are good at that and make it’s look easy. I’m going to attempt this on my Tacoma
About what temperature is the hot water? Would it be good to use hot water with 20% alcohol?

I'm still practicing on my 2011 Toyota 4runner your vids are helping me out a bunch if you have any pointers would be much appreciated
is your tack solution just pure hot water?
Can you try doing a 11-16 Ford F-250?
Yes no problem 👍
87 “locked in” used in this video.
What heat settings would you recommend?
Mad respect bro u made it look easy, I tried this and fucked it all up.
Quick question, if it’s not on perfect could it peel off?
See how it holds up and just cut back if you get any lifting areas
Will ppf keep headlight from fading.
Yes. Fading, peeling and chips great protection
