A great watch to fill in the gaps in Marvel Snap history for someone who picked up the game early on, left in between, and returned a couple months ago! Would love to see such content every few months ^-^
Thank you very much for the informative history lesson. I really enjoyed learning about those fascinating decks. However, I would appreciate it if you could keep your focus more towards the current Meta, maybe with history lessons once every two months.
Welcome back, hope you had a great vacation. I love the idea of looking back just to see how card power has changed.
Very creative video, Glazer! Really fun to watch, felt like a 5 minute video. Loved that every aspect of the seasons were talked about: the meta changes, #1 players takes, players/creators controversies, Second Dinner's statements and more. Thank you very much for your effort!
Personally, I always thought about Hela as an always present and scary deck, it's crazy (hehe) to only see her in one #1 deck. Guess I just got scalded from that season?
She was largely a meme until like late Jan/early Feb and was only good for a few months!
I really appreciated this video and the historical perspective it provided. It would be great to see more episodes like this that dive deeper into the game's history down the line
Thanks for the trip down memory lane! The Ms Marvel season was when I first got into the game, boy was that card broken 😂
What a great video! A true bit a snapstory from a great snapstorian
I think every few months a history of snap is a super cool video. I think it’s cool for the players to see new and old.
This was awesome, thanks for the walk down memory lane. I hope to see more of these in the future
I think it's cool to learn more about what the meta was in the past, as long as your main focus remains on what's happening now in the game. I've only been playing since the Ms Marvel season, so it's always nice to hear how it was before that.
This type of video each 3 or 4 months would be amazing. Just love it this one
Yes I love it! I've been around since the beginning so it's really a trip down memory lane!
Very cool to see this type of thing every few months. Been playing since for a little over a year now and cool to go back in the time machine.
I like the idea of the video, I'm a returning player, i stopped playing back in May last year and only returned this summer so it's nice to see what I've missed.
I like the video! Recapping old seasons to find old decks is neat too!
Welcome back brotha hopefully ya rested up
Thanks for the video! I really love the idea of the story of the infinite leaderboard, and the decks played by the number ones of every season. It's very interesting to me to know this things, to see how was each season. Have a nice day! 😊
Great idea for a video. I appreciate the research and effort that went into this. When I saw old Chavez in a list I remembered why I have in,ed and gold splits of her.
Welcome back. Hope you had a chance to enjoy the vacation.
I was excited for this as a flashback video but the first season you cover is the first season after I stopped playing and I honestly knew nothing about what you were talking about lol, would love a video about some of the older seasons!
I will say, it was nice getting a bit of a look into the seasons I was absent as somebody just getting back into it! This was a comprehensive list!
The history was interesting. Might be fun to do other sorts of deep dives like this, e.g., history of season passes, Play rates around nerfs and buffs, etc.
I really enjoy the occasional retrospective, especially as someone who's been playing since beta (though my Collection sure wouldn't make you think I had 😅)! Especially since, as others have said, so many "old" decks still work just fine for climbing the ranks!
I play since official release so i found it really interesting to take a look back then and see the changes.
I’d be interested in seeing some looks back? Although I will say, my favorite content would be match commentary from you - especially if it’s after the fact so you could take as much or as little time as you need for each play.
As a player who's been around for just over a year now, it's neat to take that trip down memory lane and reflect on how far the game has come.
Yes, historical context is always interesting to have thrown in to see what trends have happened and if they may repeat
I like it. Knowing the game's history can help spot patterns and prepare for the next meta shift.
The history is really cool, i missed a lot of these as i took a very long break so its neat seeing what i missed!
It is quite possible to make such videos, but not more often than once a quarter. I started playing Snap in September; it was interesting to look into the past.
Thanks Glazer! Any last chance review thoughts on Ajax?
Love the retrospective. I get to see "educator" glazer in action!
The occasional historical analysis seems like a good idea for some variety
Hope you had a relaxing time off. Knowing the history can help us to see if there is a pattern and get ready for the next meta.
Honestly, some of these decks are still strong. People have just forgotten about them and moved on. The Negative Black Panther deck still functions pretty well. WWBN is back on the menu. The black knight decks are relatively unchanged and can bring back the 20power with ease. Just going to be t5 zabu instead of t2. And Darkhawk Surfer seems pretty nice for dealing with current meta and the arishem decks that are left over.
Damn this is a sick idea for an episode, just commenting before i even start the video to share my enthusiasm
Yeah, definitely interested in this type of content. This is awesome
I enjoyed the history of snap and what was the meta and how snap evolved with new cards added, i would like an occasion history its fun content, keep up the great content
Fun memory trip. Not necessary if it takes a lot of work for you, but would watch them if made.
THIS IS AMAZING! Put this into a coffee table book!
Love the new series of content, gd memories when i keep winning with the 3/5 Loki
Really enjoyed this video, would definitely be nice to have more history based eps down the line.
I like the idea of walking down memory lane to see different metas and decks
This is a really cool concept for a video, great job!
Thank you Glazer for the very nice overview
Cool to have different content! Another angle u could do is a marvel snap economy history or episodes about variants or artists or something
I was playing revis sera since december,,, but also essentially through February, plus plus it was anti-hela so that whole meta seemed seraesque 😇 great history lesson tho, this was super nostalgic having joined in September 🥰
I love this video , just remind me I was a Miss marvel main :/
ms marvel , storm, prof x , gd old days
Nice format. Twice a year it could be interesting to see how the meta change (and also it reminds us some good decks). But today I would like to see the last review of Ajax...to open or not to open...
Welcome back! Loki is top deck for almost a year! 😅
Also Amazing vid I can't imagine how must work must have gone in finding those decks
Love the history lesson! This was pretty awesome. I think maybe semi-annually? or a look back quarterly?
Really interesting to see where we came from and where we are now
Up to you! If you enjoy making them, we will watch them, but I don’t like the idea of giving you extra homework that takes you more time
Love this retrospective. I’ve only ever made infinite once, so the stats weren’t as useful to me as the reminders of where we have come from. Can you go back to the first release season and talk about the history of Marvel Snap?
I love history videos for games
Interesting video, personally I'm here for the decks. Regardless I enjoyed the look back.
Welcome back!
The history of Snap is kind of fun, but I am more looking for current decks than old decks watching your channel ;)
Then where have u been every day for a year? Let him expand , most of us enjoy this .
not very much into infinite leaderboard but brings good memories
Retrospective vids helps sometimes it's just a forgotten deck sometimes the cards in those decks r changed
As a relatively new player, love to know the history of the game, I will never know & can try that OP 2/2 elsa :(
As a mirror of the theme today, what deck would you consider to be the most toxic in Marvel Snap history? You can take it to mean toxic like annoying to play against, or toxic like just overpowering and so is everywhere if that distinction even makes sense
Welcome back. Your dreams were your ticket out! 🙂Nice bit of history. I've been playing since it went live, still loving it. Your content is no small part of that. I get a constant stream of interesting decks to play, which keeps the game as fresh as it can be. Thank you!
Thanks Glazer
Aaah, thanks for the walk to memory lane...Loki season was atrocious, there was waaay more frustration against the Loki-Collector decks than the Galactus/Alioth (but the worst is still the Zemo season, how to suck up all the fun from the game? By releasing a card that don't let you play your game). I skipped Corvus Glaive and Proxima Midnight, and regretted it, because of Hela. It's funny, I think I spend more time watching UA-cam videos about Snap than actually playing Snap (30-45 minutes a day)
Kind of fun video but I like actual decks morę, budget deck would be fun
Content is A1
Retrospectives help. Remember when Thanos was good?
What a fun and interesting vid
Its so funny to see America Chevas as 6 9 (nice)
This is an interesting content but i don't see how you can make another episode of this as history will stays the same.
I thought this video was great, I wasn't paying attention to the meta until the last few months. I wonder if Thanos or Hela will return to the meta. We are still in the Arishem meta, waiting to see what Cassandra Nova does.
These bots are kicking my but no matter what deck I play 😢😅
I am interested in historical video so yes please!
Love history
its so funny to see what garbage we were playing back then. the idea that sentinel would ever be in a rank 1 deck right now seems insane to me. wonder how many years I'll take for the current crop of good cards to seem bad to future snap players
Hope I can see more this type of videos , Ms Marvel was so dominated, keep making me regard not to buy a season pass
Fun video.
But I have to say that Sep~Dec last year were probably the most boring and imbalance meta we ever had.
I play 100% on phone. 41:45 probably why I'm not great lol
Glazer you are going to drop dead at 60 if you don’t let yourself get some rest. Historical type vid is super entertaining but only do it if you actually enjoy doing all research.
I prefer the content to stay relevant to the current meta. Looking back one season or so is probably still relevant, so that's fine, but going back several months or a year probably wouldn't be helpful
He meta has changed so players decks will change last season and this season has been Onging none stop..that and Destroy.. so can't just run all power cards cause the system won't allow yo too
#return zabu
