That Ilaw song is a very meaningful, poetic song. Ilaw refers to fame/success and Pablo's line that kept asking "Sino?" which means Who, who is willing to listen to his whispers or the screams/agony trapped inside him, willing to open the doors for him. That line from Josh where it's all quiet and only him singing abt going to prison or "presinto" and Justin's next line asking to put it on hold, is them or rather Pablo going back to that prison of fame/success or this instance it is now a responsibility, with heavy feet, and now we have Pablo wailing more to be heard, be free of this responsibility. I just can't imagine Pablo's state of mind when writing this song. You can feel all the pressure he must have felt now that SB19 has somewhat attained success. In their latest interviews he kept alluding to the pressure he felt to top whatever they have done before, to produce better songs than the previous ones to keep their success going. But he is a mentally strong man so he will surely keep going. I felt like this is him just venting out, sharing his fears and the pressure he felt leading SB19 towards their promised goals. The first lines alluded to that too, him catching himself smiling to himself to hide thoughts that he could not share.
Crimzone-Blood Sun --Sweat Onion- TEARS Crimzone is about Sweat, Blood, and Tears meaning they work so hard that’s why they become Gento (like this ) as SB19!
new sub here. oh, boy, you're in for a treat. they have actually performed ILAW live in Rappler Live Jam. go search for it and you'll be blown away. it's better than the recorded version for you could feel their raw emotions while singing. it was an impromptu performance. they were only there for the interview but the staff requested for them to perform ILAW and also Freedom. btw, ILAW refers to spotlight/popularity and what they need to endure or go through after having achieved such. thanks for this rv and for appreciating our boys.
You've probably watched them already, but if not, I think you'd really like the live performances of "Ilaw" and "Freedom" they did on Rappler recently. :)
New sub, looking firward to more SB19! I can’t rank this EP, every track is so different and amazing in it’s own right! ❤❤❤❤❤Ilaw and Liham has been poetically translated in the subtitles, you must see it. So powerful with their raw emotional vocals😢❤❤❤❤❤
K3n is also my bias plss try to react ken as felip solo performance and ep complex like rocksta superiority, criminal, drinksmoke, mictest and straydog!! Hope you include my request! Salamat
ILAW referring to their past struggles, pains from basher/haters negative feedback from people doesnt want them to grow as an artist.Spotlight =sometimes people or fans forget the fact that artists are also normal people needs to rest.
CRIMZONE - Blood, but came from the word CRIME ZONE where you can see a lot of bloods. ONION - Tears, it makes you cry SUN - Sweat, it makes you Sweat SLICIN', DICIN' IN THE ZONE - THEY WORK HARD WITH ALL THEIR SWEAT AND TEARS (insults they recieved makes them cry & working so hard for their craft that makes it sweat) and did not stop, they will keep going until they achieve the success. BLOOD IS SPLIT GRAIL, I SIP (grail - is like a holy cup, something you eagerly pursue) CATCH MY DRIFT WE ALL WIP (wip - work in progress) LET CRIMZONE DRIP (work harder)
The live concert performance of I want you is better since there is a sexy choreography. They are no longer boys, they have matured. They are young men. Hence, more daring.
malabo doesn't directly translate to blurry. it should've been followed by "marinig" (malabong marinig) but as we all know pablo loves playing with words or making his listeners think. "kahit pa ako'y sumigaw ay malabo (marinig)" means even if i shout, it still impossible for them to hear me.
Ken's voice comes in his heart and soul. ❤❤🐤🐥💖💖💖
They all sings in their heart and soul. ILAW makes my eyes teary esp Pablo😢SB19. ❤❤❤
Pare, you are the genuine one pramis 😊

CATCH MY DRIFT
WE ALL WIP (wip - work in progress)
LET CRIMZONE DRIP (work harder)
May I just add.. also because CRIMSON is a shade of red (thus referring to blood).

The subtitles are not accurately translated since the lyrics are written in metaphors.
The live concert performance of I want you is better since there is a sexy choreography. They are no longer boys, they have matured. They are young men. Hence, more daring.
Are you gonna be in their concert?
