This is great! I do pretty much the same thing. I include a packing slip or invoice (just their “receipt”), a thank you card, and sometimes a business card where you put your sticker. I use a cheap little paper cutter which makes cutting out the labels much faster. I also tape the edges of my printed labels because sometimes the edges get caught in their facility and the box can get lost in the mail without a destination or return address. 😱 The packing slip helps me know what art piece is what once it’s wrapped. I like the sticky note idea to keep it organized.
I’ve received two of these and can attest to the level of detail and care that Lanchen takes when packaging her art. It looks professional and neat, and the art is intact. We appreciate the time you take to pack your art so nicely.
Oh thank god. I bought my own label maker and whatnot for packages and USPS's site was not accepting the addresses. I thought it was because they were International, but at least now I know it was the site. JEEZE!!!
I haven't shipped many paintings yet, but recently did send one from Australia to Belgium. Also did the acid-free paper first (which was honestly just repurposed from Cat Machin's kickstarter prints packaging), and the bubble wrap, with the bubbles on the outside hah. Also repurposed a box from something else. So, a bit less pretty and professional-looking. However, I also always add a certificate of authenticity, a care sheet, and a business card. I like to think that lifts up the professionalism a bit.
Oh thats perfectly fine!! I still need to make the certificates of authenticity but I have no idea how, I cant find a format I like or a company that doesn't make them premade. so stressful!! care sheet is great too. I need those as well

It may be more work, but seeing you do all of those things by hand is really touching and I’m sure buyers appreciate it even more so!
