I havent played Runescape in like... 5 years yet still find so much enjoyment watching this series, among some other ones (Clue Hunt, anything Settled does, ect). Really enjoy the explanations of stuff as you do it! Keep up the good work
Hey Kip, I'm not sure if you know already/remember, but you can trade in your extra spirit seeds to the farming contract lady for extra seed pack, which I think contain herb seeds too
I remember getting my first 99 Fletch the day Wii version Zelda Skyward Sword came out, then got 99 Cook Fm and the QP cape the following year, and quit after that and moved on to the next video game. I got as high as 94 Fishing I think then nearly all done in F2P before becoming a member because it passed the time best for me until past 93. Had fun talking to people power fishing watching stuff online and all that. Nice vid.
Remember with herblore that some potions have an additional potion to make. Super energy to staminas. Antifires to extended antifires. Antidotes from zulrah to anti venoms. Super cmb pots etc etc theres alot of hidden herb exp
I know the vids are way back in December like you showed but I am curious if the new Phantom Muspah boss that drops up to 74 grimy toadflax, 31 grimy snapdragons, and/or 10 ranarr seeds at a time will change the ironman meta for farming or herblore? I'd love to hear your thoughts at some point! Great vid btw
Ty glad you enjoy! At 20 kills/hr, based on the expected loot, making all the herb drops into potions would net you around 11k banked herb xp/hr. For comparison, hunting herbiboar with the lowest herb requirement (lvl 31) would net you 18k xp/hr. And at 95 herb, herbiboar would be ~27k herb xp/hr. Not sure exactly how to factor muspah's seeds in there, depends on what other activities the person does on their account So it's not exactly best for microefficiently training herblore. But if you've got collection log goals during an ironman road to max, muspah will definitely help buff up your gp, as well as supplies for herb, smithing, crafting, etc Muspah loot simulator: oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Money_making_guide/Killing_Phantom_Muspah_(Twisted_bow) Herbiboar calculator: osrsportal.com/herbiboar
Most irons have more seeds and herbs than they'll ever need. Chambers, ToB and hydra drop a massive amount of herbs by their own. ToA and farming contracts drop a ton of seeds. A lot of youtubers tend to rush maxing on irons before grinding out raids etc, hence it seems a lot more of a bottleneck to an iron than it actually is. Personally I had about 25m herblore xp banked (including what I already had) before I maxed my iron, as well as a ton of seeds. The herbs per hour from Muspah are nice to add to macro efficiency since it stacks up, similar to hydra, cox and tob. However, if you plan on rushing herblore to max before getting herblore passively, I do not think Muspah is a gamechanger.
Wow thanks for the info! I really overestimated that drop table, I appreciate you taking the time to help tho, I know in the time it took you to write that you could’ve done like a hundred birdhouse runs or however the joke goes ;) :P
I stopped playing RuneScape and stopped watching content for a long time, right before your GIM series came out. I don't have time any more to catch up from the beginning, but I'm definitely gonna keep up with everything moving forward.
So that farming calculator on the wiki is doing more than you’re giving credit for I think - it takes into consideration the amount of diseased patches you’ll have by using attas seeds instead of iasor in its calculation. So even with the higher disease rate, it’s STILL better and higher yield to use attas.
Yeah it is taking that into consideration. What I care about more is herbs per hr more than herbs per seed. Attas comes out to less herbs/hr because I'm not coming back in 20/40/60 minutes to harvest whatever patches I had to revive on the previous run. I'm still waiting the full 80 minutes before I go back to those. It's not worth my time to stagger my herb runs in 20 minute intervals Iasor also allows you to complete more contracts over attas seeds, which negates the concern of number of herbs per seed. Especially when the difference in dispute is that the calculator says attas is only 1 extra herb per farm run
@@WildMudkip Great insight! Shouldn't have doubted you thought it out well. Appreciate the reply - I'll definitely consider the swap should I embark on the 99 herb grind. Seed quantities are a concern for me, especially the rare ones, but it definitely doesn't seem like a concern for you.
Herby to finish hunter and speed up herb? Or find a monster you can kill for herbs and pray exp (ashes) like the strong Ab specters in the catacombs. Also some Karams to combo eat with sharks is the best chance at the heron right? Love your vids
Thanks for watching! I got 200m wcing over 4 years ago then stopped playing it. I can’t really play 2 accounts at once easily and didn’t enjoy playing a normal account anymore at that point anyways
how did you do fishing on your other accounts? minnows pet rate is **horrible**. its 1/1m per catch (and a catch is between 10-14 minnows). Assuming no blessing being used (which it would be) that means you need to catch about 12m minnows to go on rate for Heron. Which is I think around 26m fishing XP
Cheer up, ironmen on rs3 need to get 120s in alot of skills now. Herblore was a chore and a half even on normal let alone my old ironman account. Oh and on skilling pets. Rs3 I have well over 1b xp total...4 skilling/combat pets in total gained 380m xp since the last pet.
@@WildMudkip that's fair enough man, and honestly i feel like most of us are completely fine with that, after all we're watching you for you with the added value of your content and not the other way around

Farming cape is low-key one of the best in the game. Bank > Spirit Tree > House > Jewelrybox/Nexus/fairy ring.
All in 1 cape.
The progress on this account has been crazy! I respect the dedication you have toward series that you start, truly impressive.
Ayy appreciate it

~11 hours/day since release. I love the game so It's hard not to be both impressed and concerned at the same time.

@@WildMudkipIf you work 5 days 8 hours day, with travel time. That would mean you litterly play every second youre not working?

just fyi, there is an necklace of bounty that reduces attolment seeds kind like amulet of chemistry, something to consider given rarity of snape seeds

One could argue that a mudkip shoutout for evscape is better than an in game shoutout from jagex. Just a couple months too late
How do you use 1-2k sharsk per slayer task?
you're amazing mudkip
Herblore is the closest thing to 99 asides from farming being 99 on my Ironman , just from raids and other fun content
that stack of sharks is beautiful
