The first thing after becoming Muslim is to Sacrifice your desire. Never follow your desire that is against Islam. It will make your iman weak. and a Muslim can never have a desire that goes against the command of Allah. That is what Muslim means, sacrificing your will to Allah.
Desire is natural part of being human. I think you need to read the Quran in translation again. It doesn't ask to sacrifice, it says worship. And worship can be Dua. And about being reasonable and not excess. Life is a gift as well as a test.
Not totally. Islam allows you to serve your desires as much as you want but with few beneficial restrictions that would give you the best out of it! The lust desire as an example, you're allowed to have it as long as it's within the marriage field. It's not full prohibition but rather allowing what's good for you with wise instructions and restrictions.
@@NievesOlan-g6o i have read QUran atleast 23/24 times Alhamdulillah. and this was not my opinion it what the Quran says.Surah Al-Jathiyah (45:18) "Then We put you, [O Muhammad], on an ordained way concerning the matter [of religion]; so follow it and do not follow the inclinations of those who do not know." Surah Al-Baqarah (2:208) "O you who have believed, enter into Islam completely [wholeheartedly] and do not follow the footsteps of Satan. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy."
@@hisamyouhana where does it say sacrifice and resist every desire? That's what I'm referring to and that is wrong. Even if you read 100 times, you may still miss something. And your quote is not relevant to what I asked anyway.
