@@Abdulrahman-tc6vq Start with camera still and catch something in fast motion by following it with the camera in the same direction and speed. This will stop the motion of the object but put the background into motion blur. Take another clip following the same object in about the same speed and direction, same background blur but in another scene setup and stop camera movement. I first caught the coffee grinds falling from the grinder higher up in the air landing on the table but cuting the clip in mid air with motion blured background. Then started the next clip with the same falling grinds with blurred background but ending it with the grinds falling into the filter. So there are actually two different clips blended together to get the effect of coffe levitating in front of the camera with perfect timing between grinding and falling into the filter. Filmed in macro with slowmo 180fps to enhance the effect and air time of course. Hope this helps🙂 Good luck with your commercial!
Fantastic video! The texture and close-ups were so beautiful, the sounds crisp and magical, and the music was exciting yet oddly calming. And that eye at the end was a surprising but brilliant twist.
I have seen a lot of this coffee b rolls and this one is to my taste the best in terms of detail, lightning, sound and flow. Am looking forward for more video’s from you
Wow I'm impressed! I found your video while looking for Coffee Broll inspirations and just want to say what an amazing cinematic shoot! You deserve a whole lot more than just 4700s likes 🙌
This is better than any coffee commercial I have seen, ever. And there have been some good ones. Now I want to make pour over. You might consider making a video with a Chemex. Coffee looks fantastic in it.
Wow, your comment really made my day. Thank you so much! I like the look of the chemex and might make something with that. The light through the coffee really makes a great effect in that one.
I just wanted to try to get some ideas for a nice video of my v60 coffee. Now I am sad I’ll never be able to take such nice video 😅🤣 good job really with lighting and macro!
Thanks for commenting🙂 I still think you should try making your own video. I often feel it is the start that is the hardest, but once you get going and start trying, ideas can start growing. I wish you best of luck!

Hi Robin, I need content to make a project for Graphic Design School, I wonder if I could use some of your clips to mix in with my video composition? I love the quality, the frames, everything of your work!!! Thanks
Hi Robin, not sure how to reach you...I have a tiny little channel in which I was thinking about doing a small coffee talk segment, I was looking for some nice video and saw this. Just wondering if I could use some of your clips? I would put your link acknowledgement in the end..Thanks!
Hi, thanks for watching and commenting. I have a godox VL300 with plenty of power so exposure wasn't much of a problem even at 180fps. I used a Panasonic GH5 which have practicly no rolling shutter regardless of settings. Also the video quality and dynamic range from the GH5 is fenomenal even in todays standards. It gives great room for lifting shadows.
Hi Simon, and thank you so much! I used my Panasonic GH5 with a Panasonic Leica 12-60 f2.8-4 for most shots, and a simple m4/3-Nikon F adaptor with my Nikon 105 f2.8 Macro lense for the close ups. Glad you like it🙂
Thanks man! Took about one week to finnish it all. Filming and cutting parallell to each other. If you mean how long I've been making films: about 4 years 🙂
Thanks! I used a Panasonic GH5 with an adaptor to Nikon F mount and Nikon 105mm F2.8 Micro for close ups. Used a Laowa 2,5-5x super zoom macro for the super close ups on coffee beans and I used the native Panasonic Leica 12-60 f2.8-4 for the rest I think.
Your macro lens are beast. Very detail. Btw. What kind of spot light did you use? If you don't mind, please tell me about a lighting setup to get the best angle like this. Great work, Bro.
Thanks alot for your comment, I appreciate your positive feedback. I used a Godox VL300 studio LED as a key light. I moved it around for every shot to get a good basic lighting with nice shapes and reflections on my main subject. I also used a Godox Light stick as secondary light to either soften shadows to dark or creating rim lights (white contours) on glass details. Thats it🙂
this was awesome! May I ask what lens you were using to film this? Was it a macro lens or did you get those extreme close ups with another lens? Just magical video - thanks for posting :)

Hi Christophe, unfortunately I don`t speak french but google translate tells me you are asking for the brand of my kitchen scale and the little black bowl? I purchased the props at local swedish low price stores or second hand and they are practicly unbranded. But a tip is to look for second hand stuff. Often unique, better for the environment and usually low priced. I wish you good luck and thanks for commenting!
