Victor. Yeah he was great. I did not for one minute consider that he looked nothing like anyone else in the family as I watched. The next day I did, but by then it was too late. I was sold.
That kid was fantastic in this. Watching him with PTSD and descend into this childlike state as the movie progressed and the shock. And the mother as well... that dinner scene was brutally real.
He was truly so amazing in this film! His character had one of the most interesting arcs in the film. I’m seeing it for a second time tomorrow, and I cannot wait!
he is so confident. it kind of makes me nervous how he keeps eye contact for so long with those beautiful playful eyes. he would make me so nervous. but aside from that, this young guy has so many great answers. he really seem so smart and passionate. admire him a lot.
Only just seen it today but I do suspect I will still be thinking about this film for a while. Without giving anything away, there is one scene fairly early on where this guy's acting really shakes the theatre for several minutes. Anyone who's seen it will know what I mean.
He was absolutely amazing in this movie. What a incredible performance. 👏👏 A modern cult horror classic that will live forever, like The Shining, Rosemarys babe, and The Exorcist.
He was a pleasant character in the latest Jumanji but never expected him to be exceptionally great in Hereditary. So much respect for him as an actor now.
Alex Wolff is truly amazing. His performance in the movie is just Brilliant, and the way he's talking and behaving in this interview really shows how intelligent he is. I am excited to follow his journey, which I am sure will be very successful and interesting
He is very intelligent. Very talented. I started following his journey too and he's actually really nice and down to earth. He is successful and very interesting indeed.
The way Alex has a breakdown while Toni is possessed by Milly in the movie, and his head shakes while he's begging her to stop, is just amazing acting, completely sold that scene, and every other one he was in.
Alex Wolff has been overlooked ALWAYS, this is the screaming kid from that God awful Nickelodeon show and MY GOD CAN HE ACT. I genuinely think it’s a shame that despite all the success Hereditary got, no one really seemed to give him the credit he deserved.
Alex Wolff: Patriots Day, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Hereditary Nat Wolff: Paper Towns, Death Note, Home Again One of these things is not like the other.
this movie quite actually changed my life. i cannot recommend, or talk about it, any more than i already do. i love alex wolff and toni colette and the whole cast so much
Absolutely true how he described how realistic the nature of the family was, it was so accurate to a modern day family and how people actually speak and act.
Just saw this a few days ago to get in the Halloween spirit. First movie in a long time that made me audibly react with the characters in a long time. It was so damn good but terrifying I want more from Ari Aster but pretty sure I won’t be ready for it
Bro what... I've been knowing about him and his brother ever since they were on that one show that was on Nickelodeon, he did really good in this movie i didn't even recognize him.
He said it was a drama then the horror was a manifestation of their guilt and anger A hyperbole. A exaggerated statement that's not to be taken literally My family has mental illness. They have done in a way the same horrific stuff in this movie. A death from lack of parental care. Lighting a person on fire, thinking the devil is after them, hallucinating people running on the walls. You can't tell the difference between a supposed demon possession and mental illness. The hyper religious people are attracted to the mentally ill and feed into their delusions and paranoia.
yup, it would be a good movie to recommend for someone who is going into the field of psychology, religion plays a strong part. some of those "hyper religious" folks don't take mental illness seriously nd that thought is pretty scary. america really rejects those with mental illness
3:44 I’m not exactly sure what he meant by “watching friends between takes” but Lmaoo me my mom and sis legit watched the show friends to make us feel better after the movie ahaha
The first thing I heard about Alex Wolff before I saw the movie was that he started out in some kids' show I'd never seen, called The Naked Brothers Band. This did not give me high hopes. ;-) But he blew me away in Hereditary, and it's great to see that at least one child star grew up into an (apparently) sane and even *nice* adult. It's also great that he's not ashamed of where he got his start. He's clearly very appreciative of the whole experience.
This has become one of my favorite movies of all time. I feel like I get bonus points for watching it while making a miniature graveyard in my basement. Lol
They look so much alike, I kept watching the movie thinking "where have I seen this face before?" lol, then I googled him and saw that Nat is his brother.......the resemblance is quite strong!
His father is of Russian Jewish, Polish Jewish, and German Jewish descent. His mother has English, German, some Scottish, 1/256 Portuguese, and distant French, Jersey (Channel Islander), and Welsh, ancestry. Alex's paternal grandparents were from Shelby, Mississippi and New Orleans, Louisiana, respectively, while Alex's maternal grandparents were born in New York.
“Its an acting master class seeing us both go head to head like that…” Can you imagine saying that about yourself? Saying that watching you act is an “acting master-class”. Wow Lost 110% of any respect i had for him at that moment and am turning off the clip now…
This guy was terrific in the movie. Seriously terrific.
Victor. Yeah he was great. I did not for one minute consider that he looked nothing like anyone else in the family as I watched. The next day I did, but by then it was too late. I was sold.
Victor Chang he cried adorable
That kid was fantastic in this. Watching him with PTSD and descend into this childlike state as the movie progressed and the shock. And the mother as well... that dinner scene was brutally real.
A24 should start campaigning for him and Toni Collette for the Oscar. Both were FANTASTIC!
“I’d murder anyone to get the part...”
That’s _so_ Paimon.
All he would have to do is offer someone a ride
@@RhinocerosProductions lmao
Alex Wolff and Toni Collette were just PHENOMENAL!
Nat and Alex Wolff flipped a coin to see who’d get Death Note and who’d get Hereditary
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Funny because he would play a great light in deathnote
@@Jacintojudio3478 He'd make a great L actually imo
I blame the writers he was actually really fun to watch as that character

I cannot recommend this movie enough. It is so good, like so good that you'll still be shaking the next day. 10/10.

The next day was when it began to affect me. That is awesome.
John Radford i slept with the light on
The attic scene won't leave my head damn good job
dave -totally. It was traumatizing and totally bonkers.
Saw the movie 3 days ago. Still feel like I'm having anxiety over it. 10/10
noobslayer135 the attic SMH
It wasn’t that bad but that’s me I love horror movies
he deserves best supporting actor in oscar 2019
His acting in this movie was just incredible. The car scene. Wow. I still think about it and I saw it months ago.
Alex should be considered as a contender for this year Academy Award best actor. He is brilliant in Hereditary.
He was absolutely amazing in this movie. What a incredible performance. 👏👏 A modern cult horror classic that will live forever, like The Shining, Rosemarys babe, and The Exorcist.

That pic with Nat holding Alex at his movie premier is literally everything !!

Alex? 'chu mean? This is KING PAIMON!
Incredibly good film and every actor gave it their all in this with outstanding performances!
Interesting how virtually every child actor grows up to be pretty disturbed in one way or another

There are sects in real life and they prey on people, theres no such thing as mental illness on its own, it's rituals and psychic torture and stuff.
