It's kinda stupid that with a new car, we have to go out of our ways to make/find templates. It's a esport platform, where on their official SRO competitions custom liveries is an essential part of the whole appeal, why they don't just include the template or at least an wireframe within the dev folder is beyond me. If they put a car in the game, I suppose they want people to use it, and here I am, and I guess also with a lot of people as well, waiting for that template so I can actually use it in a league.
I really never understood ACC's approach to custom liveries. I mean... most of the cars if not all are on iRacing and there you have trading paints. They don't even need to do a custom support, they just need to leave the door open lol.
Just so I'm clear, ACC as a whole still doesn't support custom liveries, right? I know I can make them and use them in my car but only I can see them and even if I share them with all the other driver in the league and the commentator while they are spectating it still causes major lag on game, right? That's always been my understanding but have never experienced it first hand so I want to make sure I'm getting that right
@@bstamour1 even complete customs? I'm not talking about the custom livery editer that's built in game and more so talking about liveries made in Photoshop using these wire frames? Sorry just want to make sure I'm clear on what you are saying
@@jiggy5176 You are right, others on the server only see your custom liveries if they have downloaded them. The folder that is shared must contain either or the decals and sponsor .json/.png files. In the cars folder are also .json files and in these .json files are references to the correct liveries folder. I believe this last .json files does get shared through the game hense the game knows which local files to use for an online player.
@@AyyLmaoZedong thank you. Is lag still a big issue? That's what I hear most when I ask leagues about custom liveries is that the game lags for everyone and isn't worth it
@@jiggy5176 I myself never really noticed lag during races. Only when people with custom skins join the server. Since the latest update the game generates two new files in the liveries folder. Generating these files causes lag for people on the server but only once and not everytime the person with te custom skin joins the server. So maybe sharing these two files with the .json and .png files can circumvent any lag.
Bedauerlich das es keine Vernüftige png Datei von dem M4 GT3 bekommt. Entweder die man bekommt, Funktionieren nicht oder die Datei ist zu Neu für mein CS2
Thanks a lot for letting us know!
Thank you for keeping us all in the loop.
Good luck with the other projects.
Danke für die Info👍
