lanchester law stronk with the order, but winrate is still less than 50% kek, about every civ can buff their villagers 1 way or the other, but devs think that order villagers should train slower, and cost more for not needing a prelate, and cherry on top is starting with 5 isntead of 6 kek.
@@mpbarry46 Technically - yes - they have a production speed buff by virtue of them only having to produce 1 unit in the time it takes someone else to produce 2. But this is a very niche buff that doesn't help out all that much. Consider the Ottomans - they have a production buff of 20%/30%/40% in feudal/castle/imperial age (or 60% if in range of Observatory Landmark) for units built in production buildings within the influence of blacksmiths or universities. So an Ottoman Lancer that takes 35 seconds to produce (vs. 42 seconds for the Gilded Knight) can take as low as 28/24.5/21/14 seconds. So, in castle age, you can already produce almost 2 Ottoman Lancers in the same time it takes to produce one Gilded Knight. Secondly, one can always just build more production buildings. Thirdly, while it definitely seems that Gilded Knights wreck Ottoman Lancers in equal resources more than 2 or 3 units, one Gilded Knight cannot take on 2 Ottoman Lancers and win, despite being twice the cost. It is not in fact twice as good. It is a unit that costs twice the resources that is 1.75 an Ottoman Unit give or take. Which means that OoTD produce economically inefficient units and must have twice the economy to produce half the amount of units, with nothing else in their civilization tuned properly.
the mechanism itself is really hard to balance. Even though the cost is doubled, it's never a fair fight in a 2v1 situation because one of the normal knight dies halfway then the ottoman all of a sudden loses half of the damage. If you balance it for 2v1 it will not scale well for 4v2, 10v5 etc, cuz in each situation different amounts of units are dealing damage at the same time. It will never be nicely balanced.
I agree with the comment section, new civs too gimmicky. Hate this game now. Feeling sad for pros. They have to make living by using these weird factions
And they need some early and affordable units. I personally find it very hard to get stuff to the field with ootd ... And when the order is finally strong, the game is already over. Order is only for gold level team games as a finisher civ.

Hahahaha facts, the only issue to fix order is start with 6 vills and same training time

Great vid lol
I really don't like the design of this civ. Either it will be too weak or outrageously oppressive.
Its as if it was designed by a five year old, the only good thing about the Order is their visual design.
It is weak, sadge

the graphics are so horrible
Yes, lack of textures, lack of blood, lack of good animations, it looks childish
You're fucking insane, they look good. The only issue with the game is how neon-bright the team colors are.
