We portaged over to a beautiful Lake Trout Lake and quickly landed a few nice Lake Trout! We came back in the evening to find a few bass and Brian caught a giant!

You might as well use bait casting rods because that is not fly fishing for lakers... trying using heavy sinking lines and stripping that would qualify

Thanks for watching! We are using heavy sinking lines. It's pretty difficult to strip in line and paddle, but you can catch fish however you like! Check out my other videos where I cast and strip in to catch lake trout 👍
