I know this is the most American Christmas movie ever lol It's all about gifts and buying s*** and having the perfect party. It's not simply about having a few lights around the house and maybe a tree and inviting friends over and enjoying their presence.
Hilarious Christmas movie from the early 2000’s. It was different to see Tim Allen out of his Santa Clause roll and try to spoil the Christmas spirit. But the ending was touching and I truly love this classic.
Favorite Christmas movie ever! My mom and I have watched it at least twice a month for years. Something about it is really nostalgic for us. Don't care what anyone says, it's THE BEST!
@@ahintofcider5256 I'm sorry but you just said you watch this movie 24 times a year. It has 5 percent on rotten tomatoes. Something is very wrong here.

My dad and I just watched this on Amazon Prime, and we both laughed so hard... we really enjoyed it!! I thought it was going to be a "National Lampoon"-type movie, but I was wrong!
This film actually did seem like a National Lampoon Vacation film. The neighbors hated the Kranks much like Todd and Margo hated the Griswolds. Luther clumsily decorated the house the same way Clark decorated his. Luther's half-hearted toast, while having the opposite amount of energy as Clark's profane outburst, is still reminiscent of Clark's frustration. Luther finally confronting Mr. Scheel mirrors the exchange between Clark and Mr. Shirley.
Watch this every Xmas. But it makes no sense. They drop off their daughter at the airport. Drive to get chocolate, she calls from the plane while dad's in the store. That night they decide to skip Xmas. A week later daughters coming home engaged......she's been gone a week at most!!
In a friendly little town there lived an enchanting family named the Kranks. Every year there would celebrate Christmas together. Until the year their daughter Blair left for the holidays. Then Luther got a brilliant idea. Based on the selling novel "Skipping Christmas". Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis, "Christmas With The Kranks". 0:02 - 1:36
I went to a therapist and asked "I love Christmas With the Cranks! what's wrong with me?" At that moment I notice my therapist was binge watching Ghostbusters 2016. Then I realized, I was normal.
This is without a doubt the best Christmas movie ever. I wish there was a Christmas with the Kranks 2. We need more awesome and absolutely amazing and well made Christmas movies like this one.
Yeah agree I enjoyed it 😊 so much truer than any other seasonal movie of these days. Ever so comic... with the box of tinned ham squashed under the lorry😂 and in the Mall almost naked in front of everyone😳and neighbors doing spiteful things and using binoculars 🤪. This is an insight that even if you don't conform or like your neighbors there is still a spirit of community when really needed.🙄
Nah, it’s without a doubt the worst Christmas movie ever. It has its funny moments, but mostly it’s just an ugly exercise in promoting sociocultural conformity.
Just finished my annual watching of this movie. Yeah I get the conformism stuff but hey, this is a guilty pleasure of mine that I enjoy the heck out of every year. Can’t wait until next December when I next watch it again ! Until then Mr & Mrs Krank ❤️ Merry Christmas & have a Happy 2022 folks 🎄
