      @@acidbyte4760 cool!!!! is it steve ward kinda insanity? :D though i really feel like a loser or just i dunno, because i am experimenting with those circuits for like three years at this point, and just one small one finally worked, though it gives off like a 5cm flame at 45v and 250 watts, inefficient as hell.. what was your result though?

    I'm impressed with that little thing, even before you switched the MOSFET out, but you definitely made it way better! I'm always impressed with your skill at getting such large outputs out of such small coils. Great work, as always!

    Could you melt borosilicate glass with it? I'm trying to find alternative ways to blow glass and you dont need a giant flame for some projects plus I would love to see how glass with fumed metal coatings act in this flame chemistry

    wow, so compact, i like it
    mine is like double size, by the way, i am using the same mosfet as it was during tuning.. it didnt burn up so many of them paradoxically, unlike you and Jay, so is it sort of a success?

    What I would like to see, is an actual use for the plasma flame. Aluminum is the main fuel on the Space Shuttle, Solid Rocket Boosters. A plasma flame that vaporizes aluminum, them mixed with oxygen, could become a plasma injector. It is combustion, aluminum fuel + oxygen, initiated by plasma.

      That is actually used in electrothermal chemical guns, a plasma plume produced by the discharge of a capacitor bank regulates and helps burning the propellant in high performance guns. Enabling muzzle speeds of over 1700m/s with low barrel erosion and reasonable chamber pressures. It can even become the main source of energy in a gun in pure electrothermal guns, the plasma vaporizes a propellant, like high density polyethylene or some specialized propellant.
      I made one many years ago, I used electrolytic capacitors for my bank and it was about 800V and stored 4KJ, as propellant i used a few drops of a jelly made with water and aluminium powder jelled with xanthan gum, it was able to shoot an airsoft bb at more than 2500m/s, it leaved small craters (about 2 times the diameter of the bb) on aluminum plates and could go thorough 2mm of steel.

    Hey Leon . Hau rein 😄

    • @blablablaqwd

      Hi Jessi, wieso Sinus oder Sägezahn? Du willst möglichst geringe Schaltverluste haben und das erreichst du nur mit einem Rechteck. Zudem, wozu verschiedene Frequenzen? Du musst den Schwingkreis in Resonanz schwingen lassen, sonst wird das nichts. Ich würd eher vorschlagen du liest dich nochmal richtig ein.. und schreib auf Englisch. Dann bekommst du mehr Unterstützung.

    How would the flame look with 200Mhz or 1Ghz or 1Thz?

    • @inductivelycoupledplasma6207
      @inductivelycoupledplasma6207 Рік тому +1

      At 200M or 1G you'd get quite a similar discharge. At 1THz you're into the long IR, and at these frequencies the strange RF electrical effects cease to occur. The wavelength at these frequencies is too small

    • @PlasmaPro8
      @PlasmaPro8 Рік тому +1

      @@inductivelycoupledplasma6207 how do you know that?

    • @inductivelycoupledplasma6207
      @inductivelycoupledplasma6207 Рік тому +1

      @@PlasmaPro8 a quick Wikipedia search on what range "RF" covers will quickly confirm this. RF ceases at 300GHz. Perhaps you'd still get some of these effects at 1THz, but I don't know if you can even design circuits at this frequency.
