A.C.E. are actually one of the older rookie groups in terms of age (though they don't look or act that way LOL) with ages 22-26 yr olds in the group.
yall went OFF when u saw byeongkwan's outfit. same tho. with his pigtails. the AUDACITY THAT MAN HAS LOOKIN THAT WAY
Omg i got the Byeongkwan photocard in that outfit and omg it's literally the best thing I own cause he looks sO GOOD
as someone who's seen them live i can confirm they are phenomenal! A.C.E have amazing vocals as you saw in their cover of Someone You Loved and they also sound incredibly stable live if you watch their music show performances. but most of all ace is known for their hardcore choreographies and their unique concepts/fashion(they debuted wearing hot pants aka short shorts lmao). they debuted with a heavy edm track 'Cactus' in 2017 and followed it up with another edm track and my favorite song of theirs, 'Callin'. all of their choreographies are incredibly intense, look at any one of their dance practices to see. pre-debut they did a lot of busking performances to gain support for their debut and a lot their cover songs are done even better than the originals in my opinion. ok, sorry i didn't mean to write a whole wikipedia page here lmao.
I'd recommend checking out the Cactus and Callin music videos and also the Callin MV dance ver. just because its really THAT GOOD

They have like this concept where they defend genders and truly are educated on humanities and social issues such as feminism, that's why they are dressed like that in their music videos.
They also support the LGBTQ+ community and appreciate each and every fan. :)

I don’t know if you noticed, but ‘savage’ is based of of suicide squad 😂. Byeongkwan, the blond one, had two braids with pink and blue at the ends, replicating Harley Quinn. WOW, the one with the green hair, was giving off a Joker vibe. Also the bright neon animation.

But the real reason why they're called A.C.E is because they were all the top trainees at their previous companies (JYP, YG and EG&M, pretty sure those are the companies correct me if I'm wrong)
Chan, the maknae, came from JYP
Byeongkwan, the guy with the pig tails in Undercover came from YG and then the three remaining members, Donghun, Jun and WOW came from EG&M ^^

Also funny story. They are a rookie group. But Donghyun is a 93 liner. He has already served. Wow is 93, Jun is 94. BK I believe is 96 (if im wrong take my choice card away) and Chan I think is 97. So they're actually I think older than you
They’re not rookies. They debuted in 2017. They’ve just been flying under the radar and have only just started getting noticed by the Kpop world at large this year.

Tana H the only reason I see them as rookies is because they had about a year to a year and a half where Chan was in another group so they weren’t really out there. So they are a lot like rookies because of that.

I'm actually not sure what A.C.E stands for but they are also called A.C.E because each member was considered an ace trainee when they trained with other companies. At least, that's what I've read. Towards the end of 2017 Chan and Jun participated in The Unit and Byeongkwan (formerly known as Jason), Donghun, and Wow participated in MIXNINE. The Unit and MIXNINE were kind of like one-off seasons along the same line of the Produce _ series, but under different management and such. Chan ended up making it in the final 9, so he was in UNB for a while. Byeongkwan and Donghun ended up making it to the final contestants for MIXNINE, as well, but the group got canceled. So while Chan was in UNB and because the MIXNINE group was canceled, their activities included only 4 members until the UNB contract was up.
They debuted May 23, 2017. They are known for their dancing/choreo, busking, and outfits/styling. The MVs for Callin' and Cactus have a *lot* of effects including flashing, so just a warning there. You mention N.Flying, but while N.Flying is still technically a kpop group they are a band, unlike A.C.E. There are a handful of kpop bands who play instruments rather than do choreography- not to say members of kpop groups don't/can't play instruments or kpop band members can't dance. FTISLAND, CNBLUE, N.Flying, Day6, The Rose, and ONEWE are the kpop bands I can think of off the top of my head. Although, there are more Korean bands that are less apart of kpop and are just bands, like HYUKOH for example. There's also Royal Pirates and Drug Restaurant, but I don't know if they are more just bands or kpop.
My favorite songs of A.C.E's are Take Me Higher, Black and Blue (Jun and Wow), I Feel So Lucky (with Hcue), and Do It Like Me. They really don't have that much music because they mostly have mini-albums, plus they participated in the idol shows and they come from a really small company. Wow (real name Sehyoon) is my bias. I love his rapping and his vocals! And Chan is either my bias wrecker or just another bias for me.
Personally, I don't think about the number of members in a group. It doesn't really effect anything for me. I discovered a number of groups by listening to the songs first before anything else, and if I like the music, who cares how many members there are. If you like the music, the number of members shouldn't get in the way. And avoiding larger groups just because there are more members- there's a lot you'd be missing out on. I get hesitation or trying to wait for the right time to more fully get into a group, though! Plus, you don't actually have to know about the group to enjoy their music. I don't mean this in a lecturing way, I'm just stating my opinion. I may also be more immune to things when it comes to discovering or getting into more groups, because I think there's a point where you're just used to getting into another group and adding them to the list like it's not a big deal- if that makes sense. Oh, kind of like what Dylan was saying. I paused the video (at 11:50) to type and then clicked play and he said part of what I meant here.

They are not rookies. They debuted on May 23, 2017. Just for background info just wanted to say they used to busk at hongdae, before being a group. They were truly amazing even then. They made the most out of what they had, even if they had small room.

all 5 of them are vocals the are 5 main vocals, 5 main dancers and 3 main rappers 😅 but you should watch cactus and callin by A.C.E as those are EDM style, cactus being their debut song. Definitly worth it.
