U just helped me pick the right pair! These mixder e10. After watching probably at least 6 of ur videos.
I was pretty disappointed when I saw the US price was 130 rather than 90 (nothing to do w u). So, I was about to order the $40 soundsurge 85 confident I'd be very happy w them thanks to u. Plus staying within my original price range.
But then I found these mixder e10's for 60 on ebay! :D (plus 10 shipping)

I just bought the E10's to replace my E-9's that have fallen apart. Love the packaging, weight, and flexibility. The sound quality was quite good, the same as E-9's to my ear. They do however fit snugger, and the ear pockets are a bit smaller, and the overall fit is snugger that the E-9's. Also wish the ANC on and off was a slider like the E-9's as I learned that if you leave it on, that will drain the battery. Will see how these last on a full charge, I am seeing mixed reviews on that across some reviews. Overall for $27 tax and shipping included, they are great. should have bought a 2nd one as a backup.

Bought e10 because of this review, but wasn't happy about it. So bought taotronics 46 and mpow h12. To compare.. and was suprised how good the mpow is for the price (€31 blackfriday deal). Anc was best with mpow, taotronics was close behind. E10 is half a mile away from both. IF YOU GUYS ARE INTERESTED I WILL MAKE A COMPARISON VIDEO!
Hey, what did you not like about the E10s? I found the build and sound quality on the H12s with ANC on to be a lot weaker than the E10s - though to be fair, they are a lot cheaper. A lot of people have been slating the ANC on these, but that's what the ANC test in this video is for. You guys can listen to it and make up your own mind!
@@mrkwd hey, well not to be rude, but you praised the e10s too much. The ANC is almost non existing (compared to the bh046 and h12) sound quality is in the middle of bh046 and h12, BUT it depends on your own taste of music! For example: I liked the bh046 when I was listening to some trapmusic with good bass, and found the h12 nice listening to trance and e10 were good with pop music. But e10s aren't the best budget... they are 3rd in my review. Maybe I should make a vid aswell and you can see if my pair of e10 are broken.

Mansfield boltune bh011 is the same as soundsurge bh046 - people here are saying this is better than e10 but it is heavier because it has more metal.

What's the soundleak like on these headphones particularly the surge 46 and the e10?
I've bought them in august and I use them every day, I'm very happy, they look great, they have good quality sound and a very good battery I use the 2 or 3 hours a day and I charge it once a week. the only little problem is that the earing pad has broken in September but Mixcder sends me a new pair of padding and was very comprehensive. Amazing

Have you reviewed/seen the upgraded 2019 version of the Taotronics from amazon and if so, what's the difference between the two different models? I want headphones to study with that will block out as much noise as possible, especially speaking, think coffee shop noise. Do you think Taotronics or Mixcder E10 would be best? Thanks!

Bought these headphones, this review was one of the deciding factors...while I'm pretty happy with them at the price if you couldn't hear the sound change when ANC was switched on/off either yours were different to mine or I have super ears. They sound WAY better ANC off.

Hi Mark. I love your videos and style. A quick request, please... Since you compare great budget headphones to Bose and Sony's WH1000XM3, could you do a full review on the higher price tier Sony's? To be totally honest, I own quite a few headphones (Bose QCs, Bluedio Victory, Mixcder e9 and e10, among a few others) and I tried the WH1000XM3s and was amazed by the ANC but NOT too much by the overall sound quality. Kshitij S Hello mate. Well, really , don't be too anxious about your new e10s because they are really great. Mixcder overall sound quality will beat the updated Bose QC 35s any time. I've got my Bose's a few months back because they were a 100 dollars cheaper than the regular 350 price, and being totally honest I found them underwhelming, because even though the ANC is great (Sony's WH1000XM3 are waayyy better) the sound specs are average, with industry standard mids and decent highs, but really weak bass and a general lack of potency. The plastic feel of Bose's headphones was also very off-putting, because you are supposed to be paying for the best in the market, and definitely you are not. I have a constant distrust in companies that don't advertise technical specs of products, even if they are in the technology business. I'd prefer the Taotronics SoundSurge 46 overall over the Bose's, at just a fraction of the price, disregarding the slightly better ANC performance by Bose.
Mixcder e9s are wonderful headphones, but you could really tell there are major upgrades on the e10 version. I personally like the ANC much better, and although the slight hiss when it was on is basically gone (it didn't bother me because I used them for reading with no music on to avoid distractions, for the most part) the sound quality is a step up over the e9s. You can hear more details and better audio fidelity, but without sacrificing overall power and balance from the previous model. They are a great purchase in my opinion and you will enjoy them for sure.
By the way, do you own a DAC/AMP module? I own a Fiio e18 and I can attest that any audiophile should have something similar or better to power up and improve general quality over most headphones. Sound quality is a very subjective matter and is dependent on the soundcard of your transmitting device, but I encourage you to try a few DAC brands with your favourite cans, and you'll see pairing them up with them will give you a very noticeable positive kick on your overall experience.

I don't care much about the ANC as I am not often going to use them in a noisy environment, but just about the sound quality. Great to know it is comparable to the Bose.
I was also always suspicious about these super expensive headphones. My thinking was that these kinda headphones will only offer marginal improvements which can only be noticed by audiophiles.
I am not an audiophile, I just want a good comfortable headphone that has nice sound quality. Everything else is a bonus.
I don't have a DAC, but will consider buying them in the future.
If you were in a blind-test between E10, E9, Bose and Sony, how will you rank them on sound quality? I am just curious to know as it is very rare to find someone who has all of them.
@@ksh6 Hello, it’s always a pleasure to help. Well, ANC is really not such a big deal if you mostly use your headphones to listen to music, but I would say that you must factor in the noise cancellation performance if you are going for a pair of this kind of headphones. That said, I totally agree with you… what matters is sound quality and overall musical response from your favorite devices. I mostly use them with my phone, in and out of the house, and I don’t want to get tangled up with cables, but at home I used them mostly with my 2-in 1 laptop, so I’m really picky about sound quality and power because I love to play my movies and videos like in a movie theater, and that is the reason I mentioned the DAC/Amp device, to go overboard with hifi music reproduction.
Price and brands are pretty much attached to status and ideology nowadays, and even though I will always be tempted to try the best known products, I’ll try to go for functionality and comfortable price, because modern goods are not made to last, and there will be many new interesting items on the medium term future, such as a bigger TV, a PS5, a better car, and so on. But sorry for my ramblings, and let’s get back to your question. I have the e9s, e10s, Bose QC35s, but wireless only have the Sonys XB950n1 (Strong bass but really muddy sound) but I have tried the WH1000XM3s quite a few times, enough to give a verdict.
1st place: E10 (and the 2018 version of Bluedio’s Victory)
2nd place: A tie between e9 and Bose
3rd place: Sony’s WH1000XM3
I’m crossing my fingers to get a quick glimpse of the 2020 versions of Bluedio and Edifier.

How would you compare Mixcder E10 to Plantronics Backbeat Pro 2?
Any non-anc or bluetooth headphones (so wired is an option) you consider GOD Tier?
I own these headphones and several others. The sound quality is awesome. Build Quality is good. ANC is virtually non existent. Mine sound pretty much the same with ANC on and off. The difference is subtle unlike my other pair where you can sense a huge drop in the ambient noise.
So I am not the only one lol haha. Mine is the same. Ordered the taotronics bh046 AND mpow h12.

I buy often from China and don't mind the wait as long as it's expected.

I enjoy watching your reviews and currently own the TaoTronics BH046 and love them.
I did purchase the Mixcder E10 prior to any reviews mainly because of the good reviews on E9. Everything you said in terms of quality was spot on and the fact that the ear cups were smaller and do scrunch your ears. Overtime they do get a little uncomfortable that’s why I let my son use them since they fit him perfectly.
However where I totally disagree is the ANC. Compared to the ANC on the BH046, these are were nowhere near them. The E10 definitely had a faint hiss with the ANC on. When I compared them to my BH046, those had no hiss (completely silent) and did a far better job cutting out my washroom fan or stove fan or background noise.
Even your review on the BH046 shows a better drop in sound than the E10. So it kinda got me confused?
I’m not sure if I just have a faulty pair, but these in my opinion are Not better than TaoTronics BH046. E10 are more stylish and less bulky, but comfort, ANC and slight sound quality go to BH046.
Don't own the tao, but i have same feeling with my e10:cannot wear more than one our because it has something in the middle that makes inconfortable. The interrior is not flat. Also anc is definetely a step under mpow, but it not make some shocks when trying to absorb a too big sound like a door closi g. Less i had to burn in them 2 hours has i had no treeble and high at all! So still a bit disapointed.

If you can return, then do it. Ear cups are way to small. Bh046 better.

I’ve been suggesting to many of the people who commented. To buy the TaoTronics BH046 also through Amazon only! That way you can compare them to the BH046. If you don’t like them just return and keep your E10, but I’m pretty confident you won’t return.
The E10’s are okay, more bass heavy and slightly louder. But everything is just better on BH046.
Let me know what you think of the E10 especially with the small ear cup size and comfort.

Soundsurge 46. I’m not a UA-cam reviewer so I’m not getting money for my opinion. I have both and BH046 is better ANC, more comfortable, and sound is equally good. But sound stage is better on on BH046, however it is bulkier. But if your gonna be using at home, then that shouldn’t be an issue.

Yeah I hear you. Trust me it was just a leap of faith buying these headphones. All these UA-cam reviews are bias and are possibly getting kickback from the manufacturer to put in good reviews for their product.
My only advise is buy from Amazon only because if you don’t like it, you can easily return no issues. I got my e10 from Ebay and you know how difficult it is to return products on eBay.
Also the TaoTronics BH046 goes on lightning deals when I bought mine. Especially with Black Friday coming up check it then. I get the BH046 or I’ve heard Mpow H12 are awesome too! Good luck

Which one has the better ANC technology and the best bass response among the Mixcder E10 and the Mpow H12?. Right now the 11.11 sale is going on at AliExpress and the E10s are going around for 64 US $ . I already own a H12 and overall the sound is balanced like the mids and highs are great but the bass response is lacking in my opinion as I'm a bass head. ANC is also good but I can't compare it with any other headphones as the H12s are my first ANC headphones. I wanna know if the bass response and the ANC is better in the E10s?. Will the E10s be a worthy upgrade over the H12s?
Bass are much improved on the e10! But h12 is crisper. E10 has avery soft and warm signature, perfect for groovy bass tunes, sweet budda bar ambiance.
I wanna get mpow h12 coz of sound and ANC. I had mpow H5 which were great and awesome ANC, I just didn’t like the glossy finish. H12 are supposed even better.
I have BH046 which are better than E10 in ANC, sound and Comfort. I’m a regular consumer like you and I went through a lot of headphones before I settled on BH046. It was that or the H12. I just like the fact that BH046 has a case.

Grammar Nazi you should read the comments. the E10 are overrated in this review. They sound okay and loud, but definitely not better than BH046. I know coz I have both. Sound surge (BH046) sounds better and has better ANC. E10 has crap ANC and does not block much.
However I got the Mpow H12 during Black Friday and it was better than BH046. Sound quality on H12 and BH046 are amazing slightly edge to BH046, but where H12 beats it is the ANC which is awesome.
I compared ANC to my buddy’s Bose QC35 and the H12 were almost on par!
H12 buddy, you will not regret it. But do not get E10...waste of money. Trust me read the comments.

Grammar Nazi never owned those high end headphones Sony WH1000XM3 which are supposedly great and better than Bose. but for 1/6 the price you are getting surprisingly good ANC and sound with the H12.
Build was better with BH046 and came with a nice case and very comfortable.

Yes it gets uncomfortable. Even after an hour. Ear cups are way too small and scrunch your ears. Good for kids ears though. ANC not good BH046 better and more comfortable

ImpermanentHuman I had the BH046 for about 3 months and the E10’s for about 1month. I just let my 8yr old son use the E10 coz the ear cups are too small. There’s another person who just got the E10’s and he confirmed all my complaints about them. Trust me this guy over rated these headphones, don’t waste your money.

It’s over the ear, but ear cups are way too small and get uncomfortable because your ears get squished. Bh046 all the way bud.
I have an E10 set arriving tomorrow so I'll compare to the Mpow H12, which will be hard to beat. The H12 has already beat another set that cost nearly double, the Tribit Quiet Plus. It beat them in nearly every way. I have a feeling the E10 will be a much closer battle though.

@@loadedgunz8535 I don't know if bad E10 headsets are being mixed in with good ones but I agree with the 'Just Doin Audio' review of the E10. The sound is muffled as if the mids and trebles are pushed back... and so you would think the bass would at least be decent as a result. It's not. In fact, the sound and bass get worse with ANC on. I can't believe how bad the e10 sounds. These are going straight back to amazon and I think I'll just stick with the MPow H12. I don't think I'll find another set even close to the H12 for under $100... ANC works well above it's price level and has a great, clear, and neutral sound profile. It's almost like some reviewers don't compare sound with good headsets or something and they don't have a good reference point. I had a few audiophile quality sets to compare with and when you switch back and forth to the E10 it's very obvious how poor it sounds.

JediL1C1OUS I’ve been saying that from the beginning. I bought the E10 because the review said they were good...but they SUCK! You were smart to get on Amazon.
The sound quality gets distorted once it gets to a certain point because of the bass. There just was no balance in the E10.
I also have the H12 and BH046. The H12 are best in ANC sound slight edge to BH046. But overall H12 is the best!
And I agree, the people who say they are happy with them have never really compared them to another ANC headphone around the same price. So they really don’t know the difference.
I didn’t know that Just Doin Audio did a review on these. He does a good honest review not like this guy.

Just received the Mixcder E10. I'm very happy of this product ! It was not a joke, exceptionally valueable for money ! Comfortable, good sound quality and ANC is good enough.

TaoTronics BH046. No humming/hissing sound. But you can hear it on E10. But I’m telling you the ear cups on the E10 are tiny. Your ears will get squished unless you have tiny ears lol. But everything on BH046 is better.
The only thing is that E10 have Bluetooth 5.0, but there was no difference in range or connection compared to BH046 which has 4.2 unless they upgraded that.
You’ll be way happier with BH046. A lot of my friends have because I recommend them. If you buy on amazon then you can always return, but you won’t trust me.

@@manuelavendano2199 well the taotronics 46 seems to be better than the mpow h12 (overall score) and ANC is (maybe) just less or similar. The mixcder e9 had a less ANC than the taotronics.. now with the e10 it is improved. So I think they have similar anc as the taotronics, and maybe same or less than the H12

I’m like if the E9 were comfortable, go with what works. E10 ear cups are a joke and are almost on ear size, jut that your ears are forced into the small ear cups. It’s not that uncomfortable but after a while it does.
Received the headphones today.. I don't know if this youtuber got a special version or that he got paid to praise these headphose, but they aren't that great. ANC doesn't work at all, I mean I still hear the pc fan noises, no big difference when ANC turned on or off. Slighty hissing sound when ANC is on. Also after just 10 min my ears started to hurt, because of the clamping. I will resell these and go for taotronics!

Sorry to hear that you weren’t happy with the E10 either. I was thinking that maybe my E10 were defective, but you confirmed everything that I was complaining about.
I mean they aren’t terrible, it’s just that ANC do suck. So are you gonna get the TaoTronics BH046 or Mpow H12 instead. I say BH046, but I am curious about the H12 as I heard the ANC is slightly better. But I know for a fact the build quality and comfort will go to BH046.

Edifier 860...I wanted to get those too, but they were pricey. Not sure about the swipe function tho...I prefer actual buttons.
But a lot of reviews “just doin’ audio” and others say they are awesome. And wicked sound quality.
If you have the coin for edifier 860 then go for it. There is also the edifier w828nb, but not many reviews on them.
I don’t think you can go wrong with BH046, H12 or the Edifier 860.
Or just get 2 out of the 3. One for now and the other as a Christmas gift for yourself! lol

Basically, they're the best budget ANC headphones out there in every category in my opinion. They don't score 10 out of 10 in every category (otherwise they'd be beating high end headphones) but they easily beat every single pair of budget ANC headphones in all those categories. Hope that makes sense.

So to update, still haven't received these headphones. Spoke to customer service and they said they would give full refund but have not and have not been returning my emails. VERY disappointed with my experience and I would not rec'd anyone buy these direct from the company..

I must have got a bad pair. I ordered straight from their website and they sound horrible and the left speaker sounds loose and/or broken. I was very disappointed. The SHIVR headphones are a little more but much better IMO. And yes they crushed my ears, had to remove them after a few minutes.

I can't comment on other people's experience, but I can say this: I've tested TONS of affordable ANC headphones and these are in the top 1% under $100. If these are total crap, wait until you hear anything close to $40.
@@mrkwd I own Earfun Wave , the price is around 40 EUR, they are fantastic soundwise which is the MOST important factor and Oluv is praising therse as well.
They do not have ANC but this function is more of a gimmick on cheaper headphones. The sound picture changes too much with anc on and you still end up listening with anc off.

In this video, I'm saying that these are the best *ANC headphones under the $100* price point. So find me a pair of *ANC headphones* at the *same price point or under* that are *still available for purchase* with *better sound quality* and then we can talk about the E10s being bad. I mean, for example, I can happily recommend several pairs of true wireless earbuds with better sound quality than the E10s for less/more money, but that's not exactly helpful is it?
